JUDAS PRIEST, the god of steel, who has fulfilled their long-cherished wish to be inducted into the “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame” and is pushing forward with their 50th anniversary tour. The best video of the historical show full of rare songs has arrived.
Although this work is the latest video that is currently attracting attention, the show is not the latest. It is a super-superb view audience shot of “March 20, 2022 Cedar Park Performance”. Although it was a live performance more than half a year ago, it was released very recently, and collectors around the world are excited because of its high quality. What was it like half a year ago? First, let’s review the tour overview.
● 2022

This is the schedule for 2022/2023 that has been announced so far. The 50th anniversary tour will begin in 2021, but will be interrupted by Ritchie’s aortic aneurysm. It will be reopened in the spring of 2022, waiting for recovery. The Cedar Park performance of this work is a record of the early stage “North America # 1”. Around this time, the resumption of the tour and the number of sets full of rare songs became a hot topic, and our shop also reported on numerous masterpieces. It’s also a good opportunity, so let’s focus on the schedule and organize the collection.
● Details of “North America #1”
・ March 4-10 (5 performances)
・March 12 “OAKLAND 2022”
・ March 13: Las Vegas performance
・ March 15 “LOS ANGELES 2022 (video)”
・ March 16 “PHOENIX 2022”
・ March 18: Irvine performance
・March 20: Cedar Park Performance ← ★This work★
・ March 21-27 (4 performances)
・ March 29 “PHILADELPHIA 2022 (video)”
・ March 30-April 24 (8 performances)
… and it looks like this. This work is the 11th performance of the tour restart. It was also a show when the band’s engine started and it started in earnest.
This work, filmed at such a show, is a terrific and superb video that goes to the ground with “the real hit comes late”! In fact, the visual beauty is something that makes you want to call it “professional shot class” or “official class”. There is no doubt that it is not multi-camera editing but audience shooting, but the scene is too beautiful and dramatic. First of all, it is a shooting position, but I do not know well. Although it can be seen from the angle that it is on the left side of the stage (Ritchie Faulkner side), it cannot be asserted beyond that. With no obstructions in the field of view, and the same eye level as the members, there is a high possibility that the audience will be seated in the stands on the second floor.
The visual beauty is particularly shocking. The capture on the left is small and difficult to understand, but this is already a complete professional shot. Richie’s swaying blonde shines one by one, and Rob Halford is clear to each one of the rivets driven into the costume … No, even the dent of one rivet is clear. If it was taken in a park during the day, you would still understand, but what is this vividness in an indoor metal concert with low luminosity, smoke, and low luminosity? There is nothing that feels the technological innovation of equipment as vividly as the audience, but 2022 has become a ridiculous era.
And the camera work backed by such visual beauty is also transcendent. Focusing on Rob and Richie (and Encore’s Glenn Tipton), attack with a bold zoom, and approach the waist up and face up. Moreover, he chased after the target member in the middle of the screen, and still did not shake at all. As for camera shake, the equipment may have a function to prevent camera shake, but it’s not a trick that anyone can keep chasing without flames out while approaching furiously. And it’s not just zoom. Knowing the formations and entanglements in advance, the zoom is loosened, and the highlight of the stage set and the call-and-response with the audience are pulled back to create a spectacle. !).
A full show that is completely different from the ongoing “North America #2” is depicted in such a superb view. The latest report of our collection is the gift video title “NEW YORK 2022 FRONT ROW”, so let’s organize it while comparing.

*Note: “*” marks are songs in which Glenn Tipton participates. The “★” marks are songs that cannot be seen in the latest video “NEW YORK 2022 FRONT ROW”.
How about? “I’m in a state where I don’t understand why it’s full of “★” marks.” A total of 19 songs are played live in this work (overtures played on tape are no can), but only 5 songs are covered with the latest video “NEW YORK 2022”. Everything else has been replaced, and I don’t think it’s the same tour. Moreover, its contents are also special. “One Shot At Glory” will start, “Rocka Rolla”, “Blood Red Skies”, and “Hell Patrol” will be back… The current 50th anniversary show is somewhat closer to the righteous Greatest Hits, and the rarity of this time is much more amazing.
“Even so, it’s a wonderful video.” A screen that is too beautiful, camera work that is skillful, and an experience unique to one camera. Perhaps a professional photographer took a picture of a show that he went to see as a hobby … It’s a transcendental image that drives even such delusions. A transcendent video that allows you to fully experience the extremely rare set with the ultimate quality that is different from the front row shot “LOS ANGELES 2022: THE VIDEO (Shades 1490)”. Please enjoy it to the fullest!
★ A super-superb view audience shot of “March 20, 2022 Cedar Park Performance”. It is a superb image that makes you want to call it a “pro shot class” while it is a one-camera audience image. It is a superb view where the audience is not reflected at all with zero obstructions, and the bold zoom is full of waist-up and face-up, yet the image quality Yua stability is a complete professional shot class, and Richie’s swaying blondes are up to one. Shine, Rob Halford is clear to each rivet driven into the costume. “One Shot At Glory”, “Rocka Rolla”, “Blood Red Skies”, etc. It is a transcendent video where you can fully experience the 50th anniversary set full of extremely rare songs that have been dropped at the current position.
