The soundboard album of THE JOE PERRY PROJECT (JPP) is resurrected as a gift title. JPP is a band launched by Joe Perry who left AEROSMITH temporarily in July 1979. It was formed in November 1979 and announced debut work “LET THE MUSIC DO THE TALKING” in March 1980. This work is an FM sound source which contained “19th March 29th Rosslyn performance” early in the debut tour. In 2001, he was a master who was usually released under the title “WALK THIS WAY” from the Masterport label, and valuable live line sounds at the time gathered praise.
In fact, the sound flowing out of this work is plenty of superior sound board with a direct feeling like FM broadcasting. It is a wonderful sound that the elegance sounds silent without tape deterioration, although it is not as vivid as desk direct. Although there is a fade between “Talk Talk” and “Bright Light Fright” due to the broadcasting frame, this is probably all the songs played on the day (the complete set list has not been transmitted, but the schedule before and after But no more songs have been confirmed).
Joe’s guitar roars beyond AEROSMITH and the live rock ‘n’ roll full of screaming “This is my music!” The heavy blues “Reefer Headed Woman” which superimposes phrases which passionate embellishment through the guitar is the best. We can not help but feel the difference in the case of Ralph Morman (who died in 2014) vocal at the AEROSMITH number to be shown at key points and “Let The Music Do The Talking” which will be self-covered later , The debut work “LET THE MUSIC DO THE TALKING” number showing nine out of nine songs is no complaint. In the first place, it is not possible to line up with the charisma · front man who shines exceptionally in the history of all rocks, and Ralph enthusiastically sings in Ralph and passionately “Joe Perry ‘s world” never break. As a matter of fact, Ralf has withdrawn from the tour for three months and the live performances by the same four people as the album are very precious.

Initial THE JOE PERRY PROJECT who left AEROSMITH and faced his own lock and tried to prove it again. Although it is a band that tends to be overlooked, no, there is a passion for Joe who is burning so much. This hot guitar is a big decision board which is poured into the ear with direct sound of FM recording. By all means, please experience the live album “Joe’s rock’n’roll” itself packed with bang!

1979年11月に結成され、翌1980年3月にデビュー作「LET THE MUSIC DO THE TALKING」を発表しました。
