A necromancer series that reissues the valuable titles of handmade labels for collectors, which were distributed only in a small part, from the official master who officially took over. Introducing the “Rocked Room” label specializing in rock and pop. Rare titles are re-appearing at affordable prices with reissue emblems and new back jackets.
A must-listen title for guitarists. If you’re thinking “Jimmy Herring? Who is it?”, See the set list. I only buy the set list without knowing Jimmy Herring. There is no doubt that you will be knocked out from the intro of the salty Led Zeppelin “Since I Love You”. Other than that, the guitarist’s coveted gorgeous cover songs are stepped on while liking Meeters, The Beatles, Roy Buchanan, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Frank Zappa, and soul jazz organ giant Jimmy McGriff. Although it is an audience recording, the performance is beautifully recorded, and the cheers of the audience are a wonderful production effect that adds a sense of presence without disturbing the performance. It is an “ultra-high-quality audience” sound source that is not an exaggeration to say that it exceeds the sound board. By the way, Jimmy Herring is a jam-type guitarist. He has a close relationship with Derek Trucks, and Oteil Burbridge, a Derek Trucks band, plays the bass in the two bonus bands recorded in the second half. And Jimmy Herring doesn’t sing. Instead, his guitar sings. I will write it again at the end. This is a must-listen for guitarists.

ギタリスト必聴タイトル。「ジミー・へリング？誰やねん。」と思っている方はセットリストをご覧ください。ジミー・へリングを知らずともセットリストだけ買いです。しょっぱなのレッド・ツェッペリン『貴方を愛しつづけて』のイントロからノックアウト間違い無し。他にもミーターズ、ビートルズ、ロイ・ブキャナンにマハヴィシュヌ・オーケストラ、そしてフランク・ザッパ、おまけにソウル・ジャズのオルガン巨人ジミー・マクグリフまで通好みながらギタリスト垂涎の豪華カヴァー曲揃い踏み。オーディエンス録音ですが演奏はキレイに録られており、観客の歓声は演奏を邪魔することなく臨場感をプラスする素晴らしい演出効果。サウンドボードを超えると言って過言でない“超高音質オーディエンス”音源です。因みに一応触れておきますがジミー・へリングはジャム系の技巧派ギタリスト。デレク・トラックスなんかとも親交があり、後半にボーナス的に収録されている二曲のバンドではデレク・トラックス・バンドのオテイル・バーブリッジがベースを弾いています。そしてジミー・へリングは歌いません。代わりに彼のギターが歌うのです。最後にまた書きます。ギタリスト必聴です。
