Jimi Hendrix’s 70-year “Cry of Love Tour” features a valuable excavation live sound source!

Recorded a performance at Norman OU (University of Oklahoma) Field House, Oklahoma on May 8, 1970 from a high-quality audience recording master. The trio with Billy Cox and Mitch Mitchell captures the enthusiastic performances including the “Stars and Stripes Forever-Purple Haze” medley similar to Woodstock with good sound quality.

The jacket photo is also from the performance on the day, and it is a noteworthy title that can not be overlooked as a valuable live sound source in the later years!
