Latest 2015 Jeff Beck is “LIVE IN JAPAN” appeared. Also visited Japan last year, but is Jeff who longitudinal the archipelago in the large-scale tours, appeared to the “Blue Note JAZZ FESTIVAL in JAPAN” in the main this time, in all three times of performing clubhouse performances in Tokyo and Osaka became. Under such circumstances, that the present work has been recorded, it became the first day “9 月 25 日 年 2015 ZEPP TOKYO performances”. By the master, which is provided from the recording in person, it is a completely original sound source.
Quickly but I want to deliver was a gift release for, the sound is perfectly “press class”. While the applause from like gentle autumn rain that resounds from the front curtain clear sound you clearly see, and Ya to curtain, so wake eyes on its high-quality sound the first time. Base of hammering, the base of the fullness of the bass. Even vibrations rather than the venue of the air transmitted to the walls and floors is’s the realism, such as flowing from the speakers.
Jeff’s guitar to be flipped in such. “Anyway, the sound of the guitar was bought Deca” from the scene of experience who I was is also heard that, in practice, while riding on top of the other instruments, the overwhelming presence, such as overwhelm all, it is involuntarily audience The more divulge the voice of admiration and “Oh”.
It will be considered as the mistake of PA When writing this way, but it sounds speak for themselves this is not the case. Surely yet protagonist guitar, bankrupt the place is absolutely not, is that the tremendous degree of completion of “band sound of the order to hear the guitar” fully controlled by. And, by the delicate of the big guitar sound, rich it becomes. Every time every time, but Jeff’s guitar will be attacked by a feeling to go accumulated in the mind as in the lees of wine, or is exceptional this time. Even was able to achieve such a recording, it may be because it’s also different club scale of live and last year of the Hall scale. Atmosphere of intimate venues of course, while we are full of space, you come jump straight to the core of precisely because narrow sound.
Different from that of the Japan tour of 2014, is not the only venue. Ichiban’s great, that you are entrained vocals, Jimmy Hall. “Morning Dew,” “A Change Is Gonna Come,” “Superstition,” “Going Down,” “The Thrill Is Gone,” such as the introduction in large quantities is one song, last year was also played “Little Wing,” “Rollin ‘and Tumblin'” is also vocal It is entered. Always to Jeff you are pursuing the possibility of a guitar in the current progressive form, dynamism Jimmy voice to sing in the lock of the royal road style ride is still great. I prefer either of the installation and the song material depends on the individual, but also it is easy to hear the gun when there is a song, “listen in sensibility” Jeff’s show is “enjoy with emotion” you become a show. In fact, in the out singing of “A Change Is Gonna Come”, the cheer of admiration goes up to the singing voice. It’ll be transmitted to realistic that the audience of this day how are enjoying Jimmy’s singing voice. In addition, Jimmy “Lonnie On The Move” even also stunning harp Blow resound, it will decorate the vivid world of Jeff.

This work to close the curtain in “The Thrill Is Gone” dedicated to BB King that was passed away in May this year. The guitar, it is full of the vocals, and “BB King !!” deep deep love and respect to the BB than grief to cry of. 2014 of the Japan tour, but also became the official work “LIVE IN TOKYO 2014”, this work is good to say that the version of the song also. In other words, it is less of a performance, it’s a very sound. Jeff Beck who have fascinated by two of the world in a short time of five months to one year. The whole story from the BGM between the curtain to curtain announcement and this one was complete recording. By all means, we would appreciate it if clenching is a living “now” the same time as Jeff in this work.

「Morning Dew」「A Change Is Gonna Come」「Superstition」「Going Down」「The Thrill Is Gone」といった歌ものが大量に導入され、昨年も演奏した「Little Wing」「Rollin’ and Tumblin’」もヴォーカル入りです。 実際、「A Change Is Gonna Come」の歌い出しでは、その歌声に感嘆の声援が上がる。

Kingに捧げる「The Thrill Is Gone」で幕を閉じる本作。
