Jeff Beck in 2015 who released the official live album “LIVE +” and once again made the world aware of the awesomeness of “Raw Jeff”. Introducing a live album where you can experience the tour that became a hot topic in collaboration with ZZ TOP.
This work contains a superb audience recording set of 2 performances “May 7, 2015 Tampa performance” and “May 8, 2015 West Palm Beach performance”. Both are twin recordings with the same taper and the same equipment. Speaking of joint tours with ZZ TOP, the decisive board “THACKERVILLE 2015 (Wardour-151)” is a big standard at our shop. It’s also a good opportunity, so let’s check the position of the show from the big picture of the coupling tour here.

・ May 1st “THACKERVILLE 2015”
・ May 2: Performance at The Woodlands
・ May 7: Tampa performance ← ★ This work DISC 1 ★
・ May 8: West Palm Beach performance ← ★ This work DISC 2 ★
・ May 9: St. Augustine performance
・ May 10: Alpharetta performance

Above, all 6 performances. At that time, it was widely promoted and became a hot topic, but in reality it was just this mini tour. Among them, the Tampa performance and West Palm Beach performance of this work were also sister works of two consecutive performances. Of course, it’s not just a sister work, the sound is super powerful, and both performances have no complaints and no drawbacks. High quality sound of the press grade at all. Although “THACKERVILLE 2015” reigns as a symbol of the tour, it is a permanent preservation that includes the impact of the first report. In terms of quality, it is possible to press from one end, and when you hear the super high sound quality that is not the hamper of this work, you must think “Why isn’t it a press?” Super superb sound It is.
On top of such a hyper sound, this work is also performing so well that it is hard to put it on. What’s more, the set also shows a repertoire that can’t be heard on the official boards “LIVE +” and “THACKERVILLE 2015”. Here, let’s organize based on “LIVE +”.

● Cover with LIVE + (10 songs)
・ Loaded / You Know You Know / Morning Dew / A Change Is Gonna Come / Little Wing / Superstition / Big Block / A Day In The Life / Rollin’And Tumblin’/ Goin’ Down
● Others (3 songs)
・ Nine / Lonnie On The Move / Cause We’ve Ended As Lovers (★)
* Note: The “★” mark is a song that cannot be heard even on the press CD definitive edition “THACKERVILLE 2015”.

… And it looks like this. Although it is a short set because it is actually the undercard of ZZ TOP, the revival song “Cause We’ve Ended As Lovers” that can not be heard even in “THACKERVILLE 2015” is also played in the Tampa performance (DISC 1). .. And the performance itself is more expressive than the set. From that time, it became popular that “there is a guitarist who can listen to such a performance while riding on the 70-year-old Odai”, but there are so many famous performances that you can choose a favorite for each song or phrase. It is delivered one after another. Of course, “Cause We’ve Ended As Lovers” is also excellent, and the arrangement of “Superstition” that starts with the phrase that can be said to be synonymous with Jeff is also fresh.
It’s neither the 60’s / 70’s vintage nor the heyday of the 80’s. 2015 is an era that hasn’t been noticed as “a little farther”, but Jeff, who has always been in the present progressive tense, was tossed. It is a two-disc set that proves that fact with music that speaks eloquently rather than a thousand words. A 2-disc set that runs through about 2 hours and 9 minutes with uninterrupted tension because it is a short set. Please take this opportunity to thoroughly enjoy it.

Loaded/You Know You Know/Morning Dew/A Change Is Gonna Come/Little Wing/Superstition/Big Block/A Day In The Life/Rollin’ And Tumblin’/Goin’ Down
Nine/Lonnie On The Move/Cause We’ve Ended As Lovers(★)
