Jackson Browne has been well received for his new work “DOWNHILL FROM EVERYWHERE” and James Taylor’s joint tour. The latest and finest professional shots are here.
This work was shot at “September 22, 2021 Austin Performance”. This is a multi-camera pro shot when I appeared in “AUSTIN CITY LIMITS (ACL)”. Speaking of “ACL”, a huge festival at an outdoor venue is famous, but this work is not there. The TV program that broadcasts the concert at the indoor venue “ACL Live at The Moody Theater” is also called “ACL”, and this work is a DVD version of the latest broadcast (season 47 episodes).
Speaking of Brown, the superb audience recording “NAPA 2021 (Uxbridge 1536)” is also new to my memory, but as I mentioned in the explanation, I am currently working on a joint tour “2021 Fall Tour” with Taylor. First, let’s check the position of the show from the recent situation of Brown.

This is the schedule that has been announced so far. The Austin performance of this work was 12 days after “NAPA 2021” and was the final day of “North America # 2”. This work recorded at such a show is super-excellent because there is only the latest broadcast. It is a perfect official-class professional shot. However, the taste is a little different from the normal stage. Although it is a concert format that includes the audience, the on-site “ACL” is a venue that doubles as a recording studio for TV stations, so the stage is small and the back is like a TV. The audience seats are surprisingly large (capacity is less than 3,000 people, like Zepp Tokyo and Osaka Festival Hall), but the lighting is up and the camera work is like a studio live. In any case, the quality itself is definitely transcendent.
What is drawn with such a unique professional shot is a tightly concentrated version of the latest stage. It seems that the performance on the day was a normal full-scale concert, but in the broadcast it was re-edited to about 55 minutes along the frame. Of course, each song is a full performance, so you can enjoy it as if it were a stage like this from the beginning. Let’s organize the contents while comparing with “NAPA 2021”.

新作『DOWNHILL FROM EVERYWHERE』もジェームス・テイラーのジョイント・ツアーも好評を博しているジャクソン・ブラウン。その最新・極上プロショットが登場です。
そんな本作が撮影されたのは「2021年９月22日オースティン公演」。“AUSTIN CITY LIMITS（ACL）”に出演した際のマルチカメラ・プロショットです。“ACL”と言うと野外会場の巨大フェスが有名ですが、本作はそちらではありません。屋内会場「ACL Live at The Moody Theater（凄い名前ですね）」でのコンサートを放送するテレビ番組も“ACL”と言いまして、本作はその最新放送（シーズン47エピソード）をDVD化したものです。
ブラウンと言えば、超極上オーディエンス録音『NAPA 2021（Uxbridge 1536）』も記憶に新しいところですが、その解説でも触れたと通り、現在はテイラーとのジョイント・ツアー“2021 Fall Tour”に邁進中。まずは、そんなブラウンの近況からショウのポジションを確認してみましょう。

これが現在までに公表されているスケジュール。本作のオースティン公演は『NAPA 2021』の12日後であり、「北米#2」の最終日にあたるコンサートでした。そんなショウで記録された本作は、最新放送だけあって超・極上。完全無欠のオフィシャル級プロショットです。ただ、通常のステージとはちょっと趣が違う。観客を入れたコンサート形式ではあるものの、現場の“ACL”はテレビ局の収録スタジオも兼ねた会場のため、ステージがこぢんまりとしていてバックもやけにTVっぽい。客席が映ると意外と広い（キャパは3,000人弱。喩えるならZepp東京や大阪フェスティバルホールくらいです）ものの、照明もアップ多用のカメラワークもスタジオ・ライヴ的なのです。ともあれ、クオリティ自体は超絶に間違いありません。
そんな個性的プロショットで描かれるのは、最新ステージをギュッと濃縮したもの。当日の演奏は通常のフルスケール・コンサートだったようですが、放送では枠に沿って約55分に再編集。もちろん、１曲１曲はフル演奏なので最初からこういうステージだったかのように楽しめます。その内容を『NAPA 2021』と比較しながら整理しておきましょう。
