The last tour of the Golden Age, “REAL LIVE Tour”, was held after Bruce Dickinson’s decision to leave. Introducing a masterpiece video that allows you to witness the whole picture.
This work was shot at “April 11, 1993 Berlin performance”. It is the superb view audience shot. The “REAL LIVE Tour” is a surprising little-known spot that even collectors tend to overlook. At this time, various official live works such as “LIVE AT DONINGTON” were bursting out, and the bootleg was also a bit bitter, but while following the “FEAR OF THE DARK Tour”, the live album ” Increased the amount of classics for the production of “A Real DEAD One”. The show was a bit different from the performances in Japan and “LIVE AT DONINGTON”. In order to organize the relationship between these two tours, let’s unravel from the schedule at that time.

● 1992 “FEAR OF THE DARK Tour”
“May 11th” FEAR OF THE DARK “released”
・ June 3 + 5: UK (2 performances)
・ June 8-July 17: North America (25 performances)

・ September 26-October 10: Central and South America (6 performances)

《Announced withdrawal from Bruce Dickinson》
● 1993 “REAL LIVE Tour”

・ August 27 + 28: UK (2 performances) ← * Official RAISING HELL
“October 18” A Real DEAD One “released”
“November 8” LIVE AT DONINGTON “released”

This is IRON MAIDEN in 1992/1993. The 1992 edition was “FEAR OF THE DARK Tour” and ended with the November performance in Japan. Bruce announced his withdrawal around the time of the release of “A Real LIVE One”, which summarizes the pattern. The following 1993 edition was “REAL LIVE Tour”. The Berlin performance of this work was the 10th performance of “Europe # 2”.
This work taken at such a show is a superb view shot with a sense of stability. The picture was taken from the left side of the stage (closer to Janick Gers), but I wondered if it was a stand seat, passing over the arena customers and looking directly at the stage. However, even though it is a stand, it does not look down from an angle, and you can see the highlights at the same height as the members. If there is no shadow that hides the camera reflected in some places, it will be a superb view that seems to be a related person’s shot.
And it is the sense of stability and camera work that makes the field of view even stronger. I’m shooting quite actively, but there is no camera shake. I don’t know if I’m using a tripod or using the handrail in front of the stand as a tripod, but even if I shake it to the right and left, it doesn’t get rough, and I catch the target member in the center and keep it.
The whole picture of “REAL LIVE Tour” which is similar to “FEAR OF THE DARK Tour” is drawn in such a superb view. Speaking of the 1993 video, the official work “RAISING HELL” is famous (By the way, the official product is out of print, but you can enjoy the highest peak version in our “RAISING HELL: DELUXE EDITION (Shades 999)”) Let’s organize the set while being a cow.

● Before “Live After Death” (10 songs)
・ Iron Maiden: Prowler (★) / Transylvania / Remember Tomorrow (★) / Iron Maiden / Sanctuary
・ The Number of the Beast / Run To The Hills (★) / Hallowed Be Thy Name
・ Piece of Mind: Where Eagles Dare (★) / The Trooper
● After “Live After Death” (10 songs)
・ Somewhere in Time: Wasted Years (★) / Heaven Can Wait
・ Seventh Son of a Seventh Prophecy: The Evil That Men Do / The Clairvoyant
・ No Player for the Dying: Bring Your Daughter … To The Slaughter
・ Fear of the Dark: Be Quick Or Be Dead / From Here To Eternity / Wasting Love (★) / Afraid To Shoot Strangers / Fear Of The Dark
* Note: “★” marks are songs that cannot be seen in the official video “RAISING HELL”.

… And it looks like this. Unlike “RAISING HELL” and “LIVE AT DONINGTON”, it is a delicious set that summarizes the golden age, but the blues is even more intense. As a matter of fact, “REAL LIVE Tour” is famous as “blues cut-out tour”, and Steve and Nicko McBrain also say “blues cuts out on days when media and TV cameras are not coming” and “unmotivated” It’s just! ” Actually, there was a live that couldn’t be helped even if it was said so, but it is different only in this work. The opening “Be Quick Or Be Dead” is broken a little rough, but it is clear from the voice tension that it is different from omission. I don’t know if the media was coming because it was the beginning of the tour, but I sing and sing with a long voice that is impossible even in the 80’s! Sing !! It can’t be helped to think that if you can sing this much, you can do it solo.
A full show of “REAL LIVE Tour” that has more classics than the video works “LIVE AT DONINGTON” and “RAISING HELL” and is different from the editing board “A Real DEAD One”. It is a superb view video that you can enjoy the whole picture with the transcendent Dickinson’s singing. One piece that you can experience from the special seats a big enthusiasm that you can only think “Is this person really willing to quit?” Please enjoy it to your heart’s content.
UP THE IRONS !!

★ A masterpiece video of “REAL LIVE Tour”, the last of the golden age. This is an audience shot of “April 11, 1993 Berlin performance”. With a superb view shot with a sense of stability, you can pass over the arena customers and look directly at the stage. Perhaps you are using a tripod, this is a great video that does not cause camera shake even with active camera work, and captures the target member in the center.

そんな絶景で描かれるのは“FEAR OF THE DARK Tour”とは似て非なる”REAL LIVE Tour”の全貌。
