【ディスク１：1982年３月24日ノジャン＝シュル＝マルヌ】
本邦初CD化となるフランスのノジャン＝シュル＝マルヌ公演（従来、パリ公演と言われてきたもの。このツアーにパリでのライヴはありません）。“BEAST ON THE ROAD 1982”の大代表作と言えば、オフィシャルの『BEAST OVER HAMMERSMITH』ですが、その理由はクオリティもさることながら、唯一フルセットをサウンドボードで収めているがゆえ。このライヴは、そのハマースミス公演に次ぐロング・スケールの放送音源なのです。放送枠の関係からか「Children Of The Damned」「Another Life」「Total Eclipse」「Hallowed Be Thy Name」「Iron Maiden」がなく、曲順も大幅に入れ替わっているものの、デイヴ・マーレイのギターソロも含め、１時間８分にも及ぶ長尺でサウンドボードが楽しめる放送です。
サイズがツアー２位なら、クオリティは４位。さすがにオフィシャル盤やマスター・クオリティ『BEAST OVER PALLADIUM』の“ビッグ３”には及ばないものの、歪みやノイズもなく、当時の放送そのままを楽しめる。“ビッグ３”が母国イギリスやアメリカ公演だったのに対し、フランス語MCも新鮮なヨーロッパ公演なのもポイントです。
【ディスク２：４月29日シュトゥットガルト公演】
ディスク２には、再発のリクエストが寄せられていた名盤タイトルから復刻した２公演です。ますはヨーロッパ・レッグのドイツ公演から５曲。これはLangleyレーベルの『BEAST 1982』からの再収録です。『BEAST 1982』は、このドイツ公演と“レディング・フェスティバル1982”のFM放送をカップリングしたアルバムだったのですが、その後にレディング1982が放送よりも長尺で公式化。単体での再発が難しく、歴史の闇に埋もれていたサウンドボード録音がここに蘇ったわけです。
残念ながらマスターのジェネレーション問題からランダムに揺れるピッチが「極上サウンド」とは言い難いものの、録音自体は極上。美しい楽音は、それこそ伝説のパラディウム公演にも迫るほど（もしマスター・クオリティが発掘されれば、短かろうと即刻プレスしたい！）の名録音です。
【ディスク２：７月17日ロサンゼルス公演】
ラストは北米レッグの放送音源５曲。これはPOWER GATEレーベルの『DEFINITIVE YEARS II』にボーナス収録されていたものです。『DEFINITIVE YEARS』シリーズは再発どころか、６作丸ごとプレス化のリクエストまでいただいているほど人気シリーズなのですが、いくつかの録音にアップグレード版が登場していてプレスできない。例えば、このロサンゼルス公演にしても、カップリングのオックスフォード公演が『DEFINITVE OXFORD 1982（ZODIAC 174）』で大アップグレード。その煽りを食って、この放送音源も不遇に陥っていたのです。
