2013年「SPORTS 30TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR」より、日本公演初日となった、10月7日の渋谷公会堂公演を1時間37分に渡って完全収録したファン必携の一枚。録音者は、東京2日目公演を驚愕の最高音質で記録してくれた同一テーパーによるもの。勿論、プレス盤と同じ機材を使用しているので、セットとしての統一感もあり、CDR盤ですが、十分な高音質で収録されているので、安心して楽しむことができます。6列目センターで録音された東京2日目に対し、本盤の録音席は8列目左端とのことで、鉄壁のプレス盤2日目に比べると、クリアーさには負けますが、それでも良い録音です。ややエコー感を拾っているサウンドではありますが、音像は安定しており、周囲の観客の歓声・手拍子に邪魔されていない、良い録音です。セットは東京両日とも殆ど同じで、7曲目のみ、日替わりで、2日目がIf This Is Itに対し、同じくメロウな名曲、「Fore!」からのDoing It All For My Baby。これだけの名曲、どうせだったら、どちらもやってくれれば良いのにと思うのは贅沢でしょうか。緩急を効かせた効果的なセットは素晴らしく、各所で見事な盛り上がりを楽しむことができます。2013年東京初日公演の圧巻の記録。元々、この日が完売となったため、2日目が追加で発売されたわけで、コアな大ファンが集結した東京初日公演。2日目以上の熱狂の嵐の中、グルーブに満ちた演奏でファンを大いに楽しませてくれたヒューイ＆ザ・ニュースの圧巻のライヴをプレス盤と合わせてお楽しみ下さい。
