It is contained in this work “January 22, 2017: Kobe World Memorial Hall Concert”. It is a concert I reported on the fastest CDR board “LIVE KOBE 2017 (Shades 702)” the other day, but this work is a super and superb live album that far surpasses that masterpiece. Furthermore, it seems to be an official live album until the great cheers. No matter how official tone it is because it is an audience recording, this work is sucked in lively cheers. But it is strangely far, returning it to plenty of spectacular places on it. It is a balance like an official live board whose balance has been precisely mixed.
It was the masterpiece “Nishi Nippon Strongest Taper” that made such “as if it is an official” sound. The first day of simultaneous release this week Osaka performance “OSAKA 2017 (ZODIAC 229)” is also his work, this work is a transcendent board going further. The “World Memorial Hall” that became the site is a venue for accommodating 8,000 people, but this is small even if it is seen worldwide. 日本中を巻き込んだ24年ぶりの再編ツアー“NOT IN THIS LIFETIME…”。各公演から猛烈な録音が連発していますが、その中でも飛びっきりの１本。いえ、全世界規模でも珍しい極上ライヴアルバムがプレス２CDで登場です！
本作に収められているのは「2017年１月22日：神戸ワールド記念ホール公演」。先日も最速のCDR盤『LIVE KOBE 2017（Shades 702）』でレポートしたコンサートですが、本作はあの傑作を遙かに凌駕する超・極上ライヴアルバムなのです。ここのところ毎週リリース・ラッシュが続いておりますので、整理しておきましょう。

このように、全５公演すべてで強力ライヴアルバムが勢揃いしました。今週は、大阪公演・神戸公演・埼玉公演２日目の３本のプレス・アルバムが一気に登場。本作は、神戸公演です。
そんな本作のサウンドは、極めつけの極上品。最速リリースのCDR盤を超えた「この日のトップ」というだけでなく、ツアー全体でもバツグンの録音なのです。正直なところ、同時リリースの『SAITAMA SUPER ARENA 2017 2ND NIGHT（ZODIAC 231）』も異常な超・高音質だけに、軽々に「ツアーNo.1」とは言えないものの、全世界で吹き出している“NOT IN THIS LIFETIME TOUR”録音でも間違いなく１・２を争う超絶サウンドなのです。
その音の個性とは……困った。あまりに完璧すぎて「低音が○○」「エッジが☆☆」と挙げていったらキリがない。CDR盤『LIVE KOBE 2017』を「まるでサウンドボードと呼ぶタイプ」と紹介しましたが、本作は「まるでオフィシャル・アルバム」。超絶にクリア＆ダイレクトな演奏・歌声が間近に迫り、その１粒１粒がクリスタル・クリアに輝く。ゴリゴリっとしたダフ・マッケイガンのベースも、他の誰も鳴らせないスラッシュのトーンも、極めて艶やか。今後、オフィシャルでライヴアルバムやスタジオ作が作られるかもしれませんが、そこで聴ける音は本作とほぼ同じなのではないでしょうか……。さらには、大歓声まで公式ライヴアルバムかのよう。いかに公式調とは言ってもオーディエンス録音ですから、本作には生々しい大喝采が吸い込まれている。しかし、それが妙に遠く、その上でスペクタクルたっぷりに寄せては返す。そのバランスが精緻にミックスされた公式ライヴ盤のようなバランスなのです。
そんな「まるでオフィシャル」サウンドをモノにしたのは、かの名匠“西日本最強テーパー”氏。今週同時リリースの初日大阪公演『OSAKA 2017（ZODIAC 229）』も彼の作品ですが、本作はさらに上を行く超絶盤です。同じ名匠でありながら差が生まれたのは、会場のせいもある。現場となった“ワールド記念ホール”は8,000人収容の会場ですが、これは全世界的に見ても小さい。まだまだツアーが続くので断言はできませんが、恐らくは世界初お目見えだったウォームアップ公演（500人規模のクラブでした）に次ぐ小さい会場になるでしょう。もちろん、8,000人と言えば日本武道館クラスの大会場なわけですが、そこに“最強氏”のマジック・サウンドが加わる事により、超絶なダイレクト・サウンドが生まれたわけです。
そして、その会場規模はショウにも現れている。セットも２曲増量（「Attitude」「Patience」が落ち、「New Rose」「Out Ta Get Me」「Sorry」「Don’t Cry」がセットイン）していますが、演奏ぶりも熱い。怪物GUNS N’ ROSESが１万人を切る会場に押し込まれた濃縮感、緊密感が凄い。果てが見えない観客へ届けるのではなく、全員の存在が見える空間での密着感があるのです。その上に来て、アクセル・ローズの歌声も絶好調。大阪公演よりも明らかに調子を上げており、「Don’t Cry」に至っては90年代と変わらない美声を轟かせる……。まさに名サウンド・名曲・名演がすべて揃った１本なのです。

スタジアムでもドームでもアリーナでもなく、ホールのGUNS N’ ROSES。全世界的にも類い希なコンサートを、全世界でも１・２を争う超サウンドで捉えきったライヴアルバムの超傑作です。もはや、日本を代表する名テーパーとなった“最強氏”渾身の逸品。今週末、あなたのお手元にお届けいたします。
