本作ではトレーダー間でも一切出回っていないオリジナルDATマスターを使用し、このスペシャルなライヴを記録するのにふさわしい最高音質で完全収録しています。セットリストは（当然ですが）すべてジミ・ヘンドリクスの楽曲。オープニングの「Purple Haze」から、ゲイリーはヴォーカルそしてギターで、激しく強烈なタッチと極上のトーンでこれらの楽曲をプレイしていきます。メインのセットでバックを務めているのはダリン・ムーニィとデイヴ・ブロンズ。特にダリンは長らくゲイリーとコンビネーションを組んでいるおかげで、タイトなドラムはゲイリーのプレイへとぴったりフィット。デイヴもロビン・トロワーやエリック・クラプトンに認められる卓越したベース・プレイを披露しています。ゲイリーは「Manic Depression」や「The Wind Cries Mary」さらに「I Don’t Live Today」と味のあるプレイを連発。どの曲でもゲイリーならではの解釈で名曲の数々が再現され、長めにプレイされるギターソロもおしなべて聴き応え満点と、ファンは一瞬たりとも演奏から耳を離せません。
7曲目の「Fire」が演奏された後、いよいよ本ライヴ最大のサプライズが訪れます。メンバーチェンジがアナウンスされると、ジミの盟友ミッチ・ミッチェルとビリー・コックスが登場！　ゲイリーとのトリオで「Red House」・「Stone Free」・「Hey Joe」を演奏します。ゲイリーは’93年から’94年にかけての”BBM”で、ジンジャー・ベイカーやジャック・ブルースらと共演し、”憧れ”の一人であるCREAM時代のエリック・クラプトンの位置に立っていますが、この時はまさに自分がジミの位置に立ったわけです。ミッチとビリーのリズムセクションをバックに、憧れのプレイヤーになりきってギターをプレイするゲイリーの姿は、音で聴くだけでも嬉しそうで、眩しく光り輝いているようではありませんか！　演奏に渦巻く極上のグルーヴとムードも堪りません！　彼らの歴史的競演を会場さながらの臨場感と最高の音色で聴ける喜びは何者にも替え難い。この3曲のためだけに本盤を入手しても、ファンならば絶対に損はしません。ラストは再びダリンとデイヴのリズムセクションに戻り10分に及ぶ「Voodoo Chile」が取り上げられて、夢のようなライヴは締めくくられます。
