A necromancer label that reissues from the official master who officially took over the valuable titles of handmade labels for collectors that were distributed only in a small part. Rare titles are re-appearing at affordable prices with reissue emblems and newly refurbished back jackets.

You can enjoy the best ensemble by the big band of 1988, which also had the saxophone corps, with the powerful high-quality audience recording. Speaking of Zappa’s guitar, the thick sound of Gibson humbuckers such as Les Paul and SG was attractive at the beginning, but in the latter half including this live, the grass tone of Stratocaster bursts violently. The set list is quite different from the live in Allentown that year released from the same label. And since this day is Chad Wackerman’s birthday, a special guest participates. As introduced in the commentary in Allentown, Zappa’s son, Dweezil Zappa, plays the guitar in “Stairway to Heaven”! It is a masterpiece performance. He also played The Beatles’ “I Am the Walrus”.

迫力満点の高音質オーディエンス録音にて、サックス隊も擁した1988年の大所帯なバンドによる最高のアンサンブルが楽しめます。ザッパのギターと言えば、初期はレスポールやＳＧといったギブソンのハムバッカーによる野太いサウンドが魅力でしたが、本ライヴ含む後期はストラトキャスターのグラス・トーンが激しくはじけます。同レーベルよりリリースしている同年アレンタウンでのライヴとはセットリストも結構違っています。そしてこの日はチャド・ワッカーマンの誕生日であることもありスペシャル・ゲストが参加。アレンタウンでの解説文でも紹介されている通り、ザッパの息子であるドゥイージル・ザッパが『天国への階段』でギター弾きまくり！圧巻の演奏です。ビートルズの『アイ・アム・ザ・ウォルラス』も演奏。
