FOREIGNER in the early 80’s, which consisted of four people and made “4” and “AGENT PROVOCATEUR” a big hit. The superb professional shot is here.
Two festival appearances representing West Germany are included in this work. This is a multi-camera pro shot with a bonus of “May 26, 1985: ROCK AM RING” of “AGENT PROVOCATEUR”, with “December 19, 1981: ROCK POP” in the “4” era as the main. Both are big classic professional shots that have been known for a long time, but this work is the highest peak. This is a DVD version of the Japanese special program “Western Music Live Legend” that was aired on a certain satellite broadcasting station in 2013.
In fact, the quality of this work is super beautiful and completely official. After all, 2013 is the time when even terrestrial broadcasting has been completely digitized, and there is no deterioration in broadcasting and recording. The image quality and sound quality are completely master quality, and there is no noise. That is the transcendent visual beauty that cannot be matched even by raising a laser disc. Moreover, the unique production of the program is also delicious. At the beginning, a familiar half narrator with a dandy voice acts as a navigation, explaining the biography of FOREIGNER and the outline of the show. In addition, the program’s own Japanese subtitles will be added during the show, and the MCs spoken by young Lou Gramm and Mick Jones will be perfectly conveyed.
What is drawn with such perfect quality is a heyday performance that culminated at a stretch rather than becoming less popular despite a bold member change. The main “ROCK POP” has 10 songs, and “ROCK AM RING” has 4 songs, which is quite voluminous, but let’s organize the set by putting the two videos together.

● 6-person era number (6 songs, 7 takes)
・ FOREIGNER: Long, Long Way from Home / Cold As Ice / Feels Like The First Time / Starrider
・ DOUBLE VISION: Hot Blooded (2 takes)
・ HEAD GAMES: Dirty White Boy
● Four-person era number (6 songs, 7 takes)
・ 4: Luanne / Waiting For A Girl Like You / Urgent / Jukebox Hero (2 takes)
・ AGENT PROVOCATEUR: I Want To Know What Love Is / Reaction To Action

… And it looks like this. Of course, the number of “AGENT PROVOCATEUR” is only “ROCK AM RING”, and there are a total of 4 songs including “Hot Blooded” and “Jukebox Hero” which are doubled in 2 videos. Everything else is the main “ROCK POP”. As you can see, it’s almost “the best compilation album to see with your eyes”. All 12 songs are single songs, which is a special Greatest Hits, and “Luanne” and “Reaction To Action”, which were played only in the 1980s, are rare, but they are still single songs that have been charted in the United States. Even if you look at it as a whole, more than half of them are in the top 10, which is a luxury.
The performance of spelling such a hit parade is also overwhelming. Especially the main “ROCK POP” is extremely fresh. The band potential that continued to produce famous songs was fully opened, Mick Jones who was 36 years old at that time was full of momentum that received the wind of great success that won a big bet, and Lou Gramm who was 31 years old was also a singer A splendid singing voice with fat on it. In the up, the enthusiasm that can’t control the energy that blows out is roared, and in the ballad, the fat-ridden vocalization is shown. Although it is completely clean, it is a thick ensemble that has been supported by the number of 6 people, and there is no sense of discomfort.
And the big game of “ROCK AM RING” whose success permeated the whole body is also wonderful. Even now, it is a festival that represents Germany, but in fact, 1985 of this work is the first to commemorate. A majestic performance was performed in front of a large crowd that filled the special outdoor venue, and even a chorus corps of dozens of people appeared. The gospel-style “I Want To Know What Love Is” is wonderful …

It is a Japanese broadcast where you can witness the masterpiece professional shot, which is a big standard, with the highest quality and the prime FOREIGNER for about 78 minutes. That is a super masterpiece equal to or better than “4” and “AGENT PROVOCATEUR”. FOREIGNER It’s impossible that you haven’t seen this work while you love it. One of the vertices that stands on such a horizon. Please enjoy it to your heart’s content!

FOREIGNER:Long, Long Way from Home/Cold As Ice/Feels Like The First Time/Starrider
・DOUBLE VISION:Hot Blooded(2
・HEAD GAMES:Dirty White Boy
4:Luanne/Waiting For A Girl Like You/Urgent/Jukebox Hero(2
・AGENT PROVOCATEUR:I Want To Know What Love Is/Reaction To Action

ゴスペル調の「I Want To Know What Love Is」の素晴らしさと言ったら……。
