2枚組の大作『Tusk』のリリースに伴い、1979年10月から1980年9月にかけて日本を含むワールド・ツアーが行われており、オフィシャル・ライヴ盤『Fleetwood Mac Live』は基本的にそこから生まれているが、ここにはツアー序盤にあたる1979年11月17日のボストン公演が捕えられている。『Fleetwood Mac Live』は実際のコンサートで録音されたものばかりでなく、サウンドチェック時に録音されたものや身内だけを前に演奏されたものまで含まれており、ライヴ・アルバムというよりもツアー・ドキュメント的な内容が強いので、このツアーで行われたコンサートをリアルに味わうには、やはりこのような音源が必要不可欠となる。同時期の録音として、11日前のセント・ルイス公演のサウンドボード音源が『Tusk Tour 1979 – 1980 (Uxbridge 366)』などで聴けるが、ツアー序盤ということもありセットリストには若干の違いもあり、セント・ルイス公演の「Over & Over」の代わりにこの公演では「Don’t Stop」が演奏されていることにも注目だ。オーディエンス録音ではあるものの、音像は非常に近い上、歓声がその後方から聴こえて来るような立体感なので、まるでサウンドボード音源であるかのような雰囲気すら漂っている優良音源である。収録内容としても「Landslide」においてイントロの途中が若干欠落しているだけである。おそらく昨年2月にネット上で公開されたものが元になっているのだろうが、そこではスピードがやや速く、ピッチが若干高くなっていたのに対して、ここでは修正されていることもポイントだ。CD-R。
