This week we will release Eric Clapton’s first publicly released treasure instruments! On July 23, 1985, the first day of continuous performance at Concord, California, USA was completely recorded with a very good stereo / audience recording. Regarding this sound source, there was only a French CDR boot distributed only in Europe over 10 years ago, and it will be naturally the first release in Japan. At that time, this master was recorded with a high-end recorder called Nakamichi 300’s (CP-1’s) made in Japan. That’s why sound clearness, stereo feeling, sound balance, everything is perfect. There were several tape change points in the master, the pitch was also random by 20 to 50% crazy by aging, but there is a natural cross-fade where the pitch is perfectly corrected by the mastering of our pride boasting, Processing was done, it made it to be very easy to hear. Well, let’s clarify the meaning of this performance over time in this year.

· February 28 – March 15, 1985: European tour including England
Meanwhile, «March 1, 1985: released the album” BEHIND THE SUN “»
· April 9 – May 3, 1985: National Tour, First Leg
· May 8, 1985: US music live program Late Night With David Letterman Appearance
· June 21 – July 27, 1985: National Tour, Second Leg ← ★ Coco ★
· October 5 – October 11, 1985: 6th Japan tour
· October 14 – November 6, 1985: Short-term Europe tour after visiting London, Alaska
· From 3rd to 23rd 1985 December, it is off for a while, but during this time he flew to the concerts of Buddy · Guy & Junior · Wells, Sting, Gary Brooker, Dire · Straits etc and stands on stage

In response to the release of the album “BEHIND THE SUN” which the recording was completed in the previous year, it can be said that it spent one year for promotion of this album. That was a lot of confidence. It covers the whole of Europe and has been visited twice in North America. Moreover, by dividing the legs, we were also changing the set list. It was the appearance to “David Letterman Show” on May 8th that became the trigger. In response to a request from Paul Schaffer who served as the music director of this program, I played the White Room for the first time in 17 years with the house band of the show. Clapton satisfied with this result set this song from the tour · second leg. So you can listen to this song on the main board as well. The main board is worth noting that not only high-quality sound but also excellent performance is recorded. Excellent thrilling play that includes this White Room and is superior to the sharpness that I hear on I Shot The Sheriff, Same Old Blues, Tangled In Love, Badge, Let It Rain, Double Trouble, Cocaine, Layla, Forever Man, Further On Up The Road It’s too amazing! In this way, it is almost all songs that the angry speed is playing fast and the slow hand playing burst is exploding. Moreover, Carlos Santana is flying in Angkor’s Further On Up The Road, and the first album collaboration that has been in 10 years has been realized. Santana and Clapton’s unique guitar battle here are also terrible! It simply does not mean that it is a good master of the first public release. If “rock clapton” here is a rock fan it would have to listen. It was a late afternoon tour that showed the world that Clapton is alive in time with that “live aid”, and confronted further confidence. There is no mistake in saying that it was a time when one peak was extremely high in his career. And what was caught in the main board can be said to be one of the performances proven by Clapton’s awesome. In Japan, probably the first public audience master of a wonderful performance that has never been heard even by a mania. It will be released on the limited press CD with the sticker representing the first edition, so please order as soon as possible.

I Shot The Sheriff、Same Old Blues、Tangled In Love、Badge、Let It Rain、Double Trouble、Cocaine、Layla、Forever Man、Further On Up The Roadで聴かれる切れ味抜群のスリリングなプレイが凄過ぎます! Further On Up The Roadではカルロス・サンタナが飛入りしており、10年ぶりとなる盟友共演が実現しています。
