This master itself is the arena front row recording that became the basis of “Budokan 2019 Day 5 (2 CDR)” released last week. After releasing this title, I received comments such as “What, this powerful sound is!”, “I am delighted with the ultra-fast release, but this is the master I want to save on the press board.” The Certainly, if it is such a master of the best, I have renewed the recognition of the press as a valuable thing to be released in a more preserving medium. In order to meet such demands, we have eased the “hole noise” part to further upgrade from the CDR board. As a result, it has a sharp feel on the performance with a natural texture. Moreover, the sound pressure of the acoustic set part was raised 5 db. It is raised without a sense of incongruity so that the level difference with the electric set can not be made. As a result, you can now focus on the acoustic set more smoothly. I think that the sound quality of “Budokan 2019 Day 5 (2CDR)” is surprised enough, but this board is upgraded further.

先々週、先週と2週に亘り、怒涛のエリック・クラプトン来日タイトル超速リリースを行なってまいりました当店ですが、おかげさまで「全5公演の音源がこんなに早く揃うとは思わなかった」、「5公演ともこんな高音質で出してくれるとは」、「各日それぞれに聴きどころがあって、聴き比べが楽しめた」、「聴き比べるには、5公演くらいがちょうど良かった」など、様々なご満足の声をいただきました。公演の余韻覚めやらぬうちにハイクオリティでリアルな音源をお届けしたわけですが、今週からはさらにリリースを進化させます！既に初日の13日は最高音質のプレス盤「Budokan 2019 1st Night(2CD)」を投入した当店ですが、今週からは同等の極上音質による他日のプレス盤をリリースしてまいります。まずは、記念すべきラスト公演となった20日の究極盤です。このマスター自体は先週リリース致しました「Budokan 2019 Day 5(2CDR)」 の元になったアリーナ最前列録音です。当タイトルをリリースしましたところ、「何だ、このド迫力のサウンドは！」、「超速リリースは嬉しいけど、これはプレス盤でこそ保存しておきたいマスターですね」などのご意見を頂戴致しました。確かにこれほどの極上マスターならば、プレス盤という、より保存性の高いメディアでリリースすべき価値あるものとの認識を新たにした次第です。そうしたご要望にお応えすべく、CDR盤からさらにグレードアップを図るために、「ホール鳴り」部分を緩和しました。その成果としまして、自然な質感で演奏にメリハリがついています。また、アコースティックセット部分の音圧を5db上げました。エレクトリックセットとの段差が出来ないように違和感なく上げてあります。それにより、よりスムーズにアコースティックセットに集中していただけるようになりました。「Budokan 2019 Day 5(2CDR)」 の音質には十分驚かれたことと思いますが、本盤はさらにグレードアップしています。

記念すべき最終公演ですから、ここにプレス盤を投入することは当然と言えば当然かもしれません。しかしそれもこれほど驚愕に値する極上マスターの提供があればこそ、です。正真正銘のアリーナ最前列録音。この粒立った楽音の迫力、特にソニー・エモリーのドラムサウンドが凄すぎます。そしてそれに煽られながら向かい合うクラプトンとドイル・ブラムホールのギターサウンドの対比具合が素晴らしい！この最終日にはエレクトリックLaylaの復活はあるのか？それによってセットリストに変化はあるのか？最後にクラプトンから何らかのコメントは聞かれるのか？といろいろな憶測を呼び期待された最終公演でしたが、結局2日目以降と同じアンプラグドLaylaを含んだセットリストで行なわれ、特にコメントもありませんでした。しかし、このサウンドを前にすれば、そんなことは関係ないです、ただただこの怒涛のサウンドシャワーを浴びていただきたい。「Budokan 2019 Day 5(2CDR)」のレビューでも述べましたが、この最終日の聴きどころは、長期休暇の後、今年に入って初めてとなる連続公演だったためか、最終日ともなるとクラプトンはかなり疲れた様子を見せていたにもかかわらず、懸命に楽曲のクオリティをキープしていた点がポイントでした。オープニングのPretendingからアンコールに至るまで、歌とプレイの両面で危うい箇所は散見しています。しかし、本領発揮の速弾きで瞬間的に爆発したWanna Make Love to Youなど、クラプトンらしい冴えも見せてくれた上に、やはり全編において丁寧かつ繊細に楽曲をプレイする姿がこの上なく美しかった。キャリア56年を誇るレジェンド・アーティストが大好きな日本でプレイした最終公演。究極のサウンドで永久保存する本盤がそれを伝えるには最も相応しいと思います。全公演をコレクトいただいた方も、初日のプレス盤にご満足いただいた方も、次にご満足いただくのは本盤だと断言します。初回プレスを表すシリアルナンバー入りステッカー付の限定盤となりますので、お早めのオーダーをお願い致します。
