It is a session sound source that you can enjoy the guitar battle between Eric Clapton and Buddy Guy. Looking at the band members, it seems that Buddy Guy was called to the band in the direction of Clapton. This sound source is not the first appearance, but major improvements have been added in this release. Not only is the sound quality improved by remastering, but the silence between songs and the tuning of the instrument are cut off, and only the performance is edited so that you can enjoy it smartly. Originally, the intervals between songs were quite long, and depending on the track, there were many parts that had to wait for a few minutes, so it can be said that it was considerably easier to listen to and improved. The main part is recorded by the audience, but it is recorded quite well so even beginners can enjoy it. Clapton is doing a lot of work, hung by the buddy’s tight guitar and vocals as if he were electrocuted. The guitar battle with two people is a masterpiece. Since the sound board sound source is partially present in this session, it was remastered and recorded as a bonus. At the end, there is also an interview with Clapton saying, “Buddy is his hero.”

エリック・クラプトン対バディ・ガイのギター・バトルが堪能できるセッション音源です。バンド・メンバーを見るとクラプトン方向のバンドにバディ・ガイが呼ばれた感じか。この音源は初登場ではありませんが今回のリリースで大幅な改良が加えられています。リマスタリングにより音質向上しているのは勿論のこと、曲間の無音部や楽器チューニング部分を思い切ってカットし、演奏部分だけがスマートに楽しめるよう編集されています。元々曲間がかなり長く、トラックによっては数分待たされる部分も少なくなかったため、かなり聴きやすく改良されたと言えます。メイン部分はオーディエンス収録ですがかなり良く録られているため初心者でも楽しんでいただけると思います。まるで感電しているかのようなバディのひきつったギターとヴォーカルにつられ、クラプトンも手数を多く繰り出しています。二人入り乱れてのギター・バトルは圧巻の一言。同セッションはサウンドボード音源が部分的に存在するため、リマスタリングしボーナス収録しました。締めはクラプトンが「バディは自分のヒーローだ」と語るインタビューも収録されています。
