Another heavy master was brought in from the British resident heavyweight taper, which is well-known as Eric Clapton’s secret master! It will be released this week! It is the original master of First Generation who recorded the LA performance on February 8 which was unpublished so far from the 1983 national tour completely with a good and expanding monaural audience recording. Speaking of the sound source of this day, only one song, probably the same audience source I’ve Got A Rock And Roll Heart, was only included on the compilation boot. However, it was that the heavy taper tapered had its full-length version master. I was surprised. Due to bad sound quality, or because I had trouble at the time of recording, I was wondering if I did not see the eyes of the day so far, it was a bad thing. It is a superb sound recording that convinces Master Quality with on sound quality charm, it is a realistic sound image. As usual, this board corrected and sent by our engineer correctly the pitch which was crazy by aging has become the quality which you can have the impression that it is very easy to listen. Contents, this board captured the nationwide tour which started simultaneously with the release of the album, this tour was the one I listened to the hot number from the new “MONEY AND CIGARETTES” at that time. Let’s look back over the history of Clapton’s activity this year.

«February 1, 1983: Release of album” MONEY AND CIGARETTES “»
· February 1, 1983 – March 3: National Tour, First Leg ← ★ Coco ★
· April 8 – May 23, 1983: European tour including England
· June 5, 1983: Appear in the charity show in London
· June 24, 1983: Awarded the “Silver · Crest” award in London
· June 25 – July 17, 1983: National Tour · Second Leg
· September 20th, 21st, 1983: Open “ARMS” concert at Royal Albert Hall in London
· November 28 – December 9, 1983: “ARMS US tour” conducted

Although it could be said that it was a very energetic activity for Clapton, it could be said that it was a satisfaction to the motivated “MONEY AND CIGARETTES” that was the driving force of it. Clapton It was the national Tour First Leg of the main board which we did at the beginning of this year which showed alive, but this board has further value in addition to the meaning of Japan’s first public sound source. The band member who supported the tour was a creator with all the session man who cooperated with “MONEY AND CIGARETTES” plus Chris · Stinton (keyboard), but drumming Roger · Hawkins started the tour for some reason 11 performances I suddenly withdrew from it. So, in a hurry, we asked for help from the former Tulsa Tops drummer, Jamie Oldieker, and we survived the tour afterwards. Speaking of Roger Hawkins, it is a heavyweight session man of Muscle · Scholes, a drummer with a high voice of masterpieces. In the first half of the 70’s I was supported by Steve Winwood to support the European tour of traffic. It was a tour that started himself at a speed that got such a thing, but at the beginning of the tour it is said that such a situation will be hit. However, this board catches the earliest appearance of the tour which Hawkins’ powerful drumming is clear, without such signs and fine dust. It started suddenly with After Midnight of high tension, and from the new score we are showing 4 songs of Crazy Country Hop, Crosscut Saw, Slow Down Linda and I’ve Got A Rock ‘N Roll Heart. Since we only showed 4 songs, it was a very valuable live take as it was only in the early days of the US Tour that Hawkins participated. After Worried Life Blues, Clapton announces “I will continue three new songs.” At this time I was concerned about how the audience would accept the new song just because I broke up the all British band and was the first tour in a band formed by a mixed US / English musicians session musicians I can see that. On the other hand, Clapton’s self-confidence caught on this stage. It is also the time when the combination with Albert Lee, the guitarist who has supported Clapton since 1979, was the most savored. Therefore, later in the year Clapton himself may have recalled that “the most exciting second guitarist was Albert Lea.” This is a good sound source I want you to listen carefully around that. Listeners on this board are not only numbers from “MONEY AND CIGARETTES” but also representative songs such as Bruce Medley and Let It Rain, Cocaine, Layla. Clapton’s play which is fueled by tight drumming by Roger Hawkins plays the flip is terrible. It is a very precious first appearance sound source in a really short time that Hawkins participated in the tour. We are waiting for an early order as it is a limited release only for the first press.

★ The drum is Roger Hawkins.

I’ve Got A Rock And Roll Heartのみがコンピレーションブートに収録されていたのみでした。

いきなりハイテンションのAfter Midnightでスタートし、新譜からはCrazy Country Hop、Crosscut Saw、Slow Down Lindaと I’ve Got A Rock ‘N Roll Heart
