This week, from the Japan tour of Eric Clapton ‘s 77 years, New Master of Nagoya City public hall performance on September 30 is released! Speaking of the sounds of this Nagoya performance, incomplete recordings of popular songs Layla and Angkor are recorded, the opening number is recorded from the middle, furthermore the pitch is higher by 30 to 50% of the semitone through semitones, about a half tone at the peak point It was also famous for monaural sound board source with coarse sound quality with high PA out. Apart from this, there is also a monaural audience source with an unusually low pitch, sound quality level, but both are far from satisfactory, frustration gathered. However, this time, it was finally possible to release the most realistic decision version which completely recorded Nagoya performance with a clear, clear monaural audience recording spreading. The recording person is the same as “Kyoto Kaikan 1977 (2 CDR)” released at the same time this week, but the sound quality of this book is clearer, well-balanced, and captured with a powerful sound. Because it was a recording in the front position of a small venue of about 2,000 Capacity called the Nagoya City Auditorium, you can feel the closeness of the musical sound as if it was recorded in an American club, the realistic sound. The freshness of the sound is outstanding, as the master of this board also produces the cassette master of the first generation which was good in the storage condition directly from the recording person himself. The day of the main board was in the first half of the tour, the day after the performance in Kyoto, the fourth show was hit. I introduced you last week, but let’s review the history of Clapton’s activity again this year.

In May of this schedule, Clapton performed the recording of the famous record “SLOWHAND” at the Olympic studio in London, and this number was the number after the release from the new release “SLOWHAND” that was still part of this Japan tour. It was the first time to show off at the live show. This was unusual on Clapton’s career. The set list of this Nagoya performance was different from that of Kyoto performance, but the same songs as The Kyoto performance The Core and We’re All The Way were shown. However, listening is not something that stays there. I probably played the blues number Blues With A Feeling, which I thought was only 3 times including this day on the live stage on Clapton’s career. And also the play tension with this number is terrible! With the momentum of anger, this song will be medley to Stormy Monday. The more I decided to play this much in the first half, the better Thing of Clapton this day was. It also appears in the solo after Layla’s late performance. This solo is longer and hot than usual! Twin lead with George Terry has been decided. In addition, at solo at Angkor’s Further On Up The Road, there is no longer a reasonable expression. From the 70’s to the 2000’s, there are many nominations in this number that have been played many times as a popular major blues of Clapton (co-started with Freddy King of 1976, in “Last Waltz” Co-starring with The Band etc) It is probably folded over by an amazing phrase which is not an exaggeration to say that it surpasses all of them. I have never heard of such an encore. Clapton of this day was fulfilling for that much. Although simultaneous release Kyoto performance was also amazing, the Nagoya performance was above that. I can easily imagine that the best day in this Japan tour was this Nagoya. It is wonderful of Clapton’s back band “Tulsa Tops” that you should not forget. Karl Reidle and Jamie Oldueker who support the backbone with a tight rhythm. Dick · sims supporting a perfectly tune with organ play which runs all round to ever more than ever. Their skills are amazing. The next year, their ability to support unwavering even when becoming a 4 piece band has already been proved here. A new excavation master who realized the first complete recording with excellent sound quality. In order to make this board more perfect, between the songs where the songs were cut, between Nobody Knows You When You’re Down And Out and We’re All The Way, between Key To The Highway and Layla, We corrected the pitch of the existing sound board master correctly and then compensated. This is the perfect Nagoya performance that our shop releases confidently! Please enjoy yourself. It will be a limited release of only the first press CD so please order as soon as possible.

We’re All The Wayが披露されました。 Further On Up The Roadでのソロにおいては、もはや妥当な表現が見当たりません。 Nobody Knows You When You’re Down And OutとWe’re All The Wayの間、 Key To The HighwayとLaylaの間については、既発のサウンドボードマスターのピッチを正常に修正してから補填しています。
