“Four golden people” have returned for the first time in 19 years. For this week’s gift to celebrate its return, we have prepared a multi-camera pro shot that allows you to witness the true golden age with the highest quality.
This work was shot at “November 10, 1987 Philadelphia Performance”. At that time, DOKKEN was touring the United States as the undercard of AEROSMITH. It is a large standard professional shot that contains the first act with the highest quality. It has been known for a long time only because it is a classic, but the quality of this work reigns at the top among them. As a matter of fact, there are long versions with “In My Dreams” on the market, but the image quality and sound quality of this work is exceptional compared to that. Above all, the master freshness is outstanding, and the glossy and smooth visual beauty is a complete official grade. Even by the modern standards of digital heyday, it is at the level of “official release now”.
Compared to that, the sound is a little rough and it seems to be directly connected to the table, but that doubles the awesomeness of DOKKEN in the golden age. Best of all is George Lynch’s razor guitar. In the new work “BACK FOR THE ATTACK” at that time, the terrible guitar sound on the verge of overdoing was roaring, but even on the stage, the sharp edges are sharp and sharp. At that time, different-dimensional guitarists such as Yngwie Malmsteen and Steve Vai also appeared, but nevertheless, the ferocious sound that was crossing as a guitar hero of the present generation is engraved directly in the brain.
Furthermore, Don Dokken’s vocals are really relaxed and wonderful. It’s a pity that it’s short only for the undercard, but as soon as it’s short, the masterpieces of “TOOTH AND NAIL”, “UNDER LOCK AND KEY”, and “BACK FOR THE ATTACK” are carefully selected, and it looks like the best compilation album for one LP. A feeling of concentration. What’s more, you can also watch the golden age version of “Burning Like A Flame” and “Lightnin’Strikes Again” that you can’t even hear in “BEAST FROM THE EAST”.
Although it was such a superb professional shot live, 8 songs were still not enough. Therefore, the PV of 4 songs is also included as a bonus in this work. The four songs are “Burning Like A Flame”, “Heaven Sent” and “Dream Warriors” from “BACK FOR THE ATTACK”, as well as “Walk Away”, the last number of the golden age recorded in “BEAST FROM THE EAST”. All of them cannot be seen in the official video work “UNCHAIN THE NIGHT”. Of course, you can fully enjoy the image quality and sound quality with the super beautiful quality version, which is currently the highest peak.
Among LA metal, “Golden Age DOKKEN” shined a special brilliance with the fusion of American taste and European flavor. It is a superb piece that you can enjoy the moment of the peak that has climbed to the point of collapse with official quality live & PV. It’s the best as a video work, and it’s also the best as a collection to supplement the official. This is the one I want to taste again because it was 2016 when they were revived for the first time in 19 years. We will deliver it to you this weekend.
