“HYSTERIA” complete reproduction tour that took over the topic of autumn 2018. This week, the super-super live album releases two titles at the same time. This work is Osaka edition which becomes the second bullet!
Of course it is included in this work “October 26, 2018: Zepp Namba” performance. Last year’s JOURNEY did not reproduce at Nippon Budokan only, but DEF LEPPARD performed album reproduction even at local performances. This work is ultra superficial audiences recording which totally recorded the whole story. First of all, let’s check the position of the show on a schedule.

Although it is iterating over and over, the quality of such a work is a superb article that wants to add as many as two as well as super. Although simultaneous release “BUDOKAN 2018 (Shades 979)” was surely overtaken, I was convinced that “No.1 in tour number is correct”, but this work that arrived late is also awesome, confidence also shaken . HR / HM series Osaka, of course, the recording house is familiar “West Japan strongest taper”. If you were to keep an eye on this work, you already know the magnitude of the “strongest” collection. Every time “Recording sound technique”, “Distant feeling is not at all”, “Record sound better than the scene” continue to be acknowledged Recording technique is still alive in this work. Anyway, a very thick core approaches in front of me, and a detailed detail sounds in the ears.
Such performance sound and singing voice are comparable to “BUDOKAN 2018”, but the big difference is the breath of the audience. Because it is a little smaller than “Nippon Budokan” “Zepp Namba” Or Osaka Nori, the choir is thick and hot! Of course, there is nothing to be bothered by an upcoming voice, only to Mr. Sengaku who keeps tranquility until it is fixed by acquaintance. However, it is clearly evident that the thick and heavy choruses that follow extraordinary Joe Eliot are filling the venue. And the clapping hands together with their familiar kitchen is also excellent. I will keep in mind, there is never a cheering out of one cheer, nor a clapping of one by a ear. You can taste plenty of spectacular beauty like small rain sounds gathered on it.
Although this spectacle is also a beauty point of audience recording, it is more important than usual in the case of this work. After all, the main feature of this time is a complete reproduction of the name plate “HYSTERIA”. The same reproduced live till the order of the songs tends to be in harmony of schedule, especially in the case of DEF LEPPARD which does not arrange a special arrangement and boasts the playing power of the iron wall, it may be not much different from the studio work. However, this work is live feeling to overwhelming. The beautiful melody is many times deep emotionally approaching, the beat is tight and clapping and strong with power. This work is a live performance version of “HYSTERIA”, but it is also a larger version than that. That super album is also a live album that has been scaled up.
And the encore after the completion of the reproduction part is also excellent live feeling. Although I play the musical compositions which are other than “HYSTERIA”, the festival feeling is the best. The hand clapping sea is beautiful from the moment that it started vigorously at “Action” of the daily song, and “Everybody wants a piece of the action !!” is thick (By the way, the daily song of Budokan is “Let It Go”, Nagoya is “Wasted” was). After that there are 4 songs “When Love and Hate Collide”, “Let’s Get Rocked”, “Rock of Ages” and “Photograph” that are the same as Nippon Budokan, but even rich masterpiece rush is even more dense. Truly Osaka. Although I thought that “BUDOKAN 2018” with the image is the top creation, the skin is irritated and it stops for the first time in gorgeous with the audience involved too. It is a wonderful live album that can not decide the best masterpiece lightly.

Ultra-superb sound and masterful live feeling by a master in the master. It is a miraculous live album that scaled up the super name board “HYSTERIA” by both of them. “BUDOKAN 2018” which inscribed the iconic Nihon Budokan in the ultimate superb sound and scenery is also wonderful, but this overwhelming spectacle is incomparable.
This enthusiasm is due to the reproduction of “HYSTERIA” which has been loved for many years. Because it is an Osaka person who is super cheap and does not have a good chorus & cheers. And, it was “strongest” because I could leave beautiful encounters between the two. Although it is world wide, it is the most enthusiast version “HYSTERIA” which will not be two. By all means, please experience.

2018年秋の話題をさらった『HYSTERIA』完全再現ツアー。今週は、その超極上ライヴアルバムが2タイトル同時リリース。本作は第2弾となる大阪編です!
本作に収められているのは、もちろん「2018年10月26日:Zeppなんば」公演。昨年のJOURNEYは日本武道館でしか再現ショウをしてくれませんでしたが、DEF LEPPARDは地方公演でもアルバム再現を実行。本作は、その一部始終を完全収録した超極上オーディエンス録音です。まずは、日程でショウのポジションを確認しておきましょう。

何度も繰り返していますが、そんな本作のクオリティは超を2つも3つも付けたい極上品。同時リリースの『BUDOKAN 2018(Shades 979)』があまりにも超絶で「ツアーNo.1に間違いない」と確信していたのですが、遅れて届いた本作も凄まじく、確信も揺らいでしまいました。HR/HM系の大阪ということで、もちろん録音家はお馴染みの“西日本最強テーパー”氏。本作に目を留められた方なら、すでに“最強”氏コレクションの凄さはよくご存じのはず。毎度毎回「まるでサウンドボード」「距離感が全然ない」「現場より良い音」と絶賛され続ける録音テクニックは本作でも健在。とにかく極太な芯が目の前に迫り、細やかなディテールが耳元で鳴る超絶録音なのです。
そんな演奏音と歌声は『BUDOKAN 2018』にも匹敵しますが、大きく異なるのは観客の息吹。日本武道館よりグッと小ぶりな“Zeppなんば”なせいか、それとも大阪ノリのせいか、唱和が厚く、熱い! もちろん、周囲を知人で固めてまで静けさをキープする最強氏だけに、間近な声に煩わされることは(まったく!)ありません。しかし、極太のジョー・エリオットに付き従うようなぶ厚いぶ厚いコーラス隊が会場を埋め尽くしているのはハッキリと分かる。そして、彼らの日本人らしいキッチリと揃った手拍子も絶品。念押ししますが、1人の声援が飛び出すことも、1人の手拍子が耳に突き刺さることも決してありません。その上で小さな雨音が寄り集まったような美しさ、スペクタクルをたっぷりと味わえるのです。
このスペクタクルはオーディエンス録音の美点でもありますが、本作のケースではいつも以上に重要。何しろ、今回の目玉は名盤『HYSTERIA』完全再現。曲順まで同じ再現ライヴは予定調和になりやすく、特に特別なアレンジをせず、鉄壁の演奏力を誇るDEF LEPPARDの場合はスタジオ作とあまり変わらないことにもなりかねない。ところが、本作は圧倒的なまでのライヴ感。美しいメロディは何倍もぶ厚く感動的に迫り、ビートもタイトなまま手拍子で力強い。本作は『HYSTERIA』の生演奏版ではありますが、それ以上に拡大版でもある。あの超名盤がスケールアップしてしまったライヴアルバムでもあるのです。
そして、再現パートを終えた後のアンコールもライヴ感が絶品。『HYSTERIA』以外の名曲を固めて演奏するわけですが、そのお祭り感が最高なのです。日替わり曲の「Action」で勢いよく始まった瞬間から手拍子の海が美しく、「Everybody wants a piece of the action!!」がぶ厚い(ちなみに武道館の日替わり曲は「Let It Go」、名古屋は「Wasted」でした)。その後は日本武道館と同じ4曲「When Love and Hate Collide」「Let’s Get Rocked」「Rock of Ages」「Photograph」が並びますが、ただでさえ濃厚な名曲ラッシュがさらに濃ゆくぶちカマされる。さすが大阪。映像付きの『BUDOKAN 2018』こそが頂点作かと思っておりましたが、観客も巻き込んでのゴージャスぶりには肌が粟立って止まらない。軽々に最高傑作を決められない素晴らしすぎるライヴアルバムです。

名手中の名手による超極上サウンドと生々しいライヴ感。その両者によって超名盤『HYSTERIA』をスケールアップしてしまった奇跡的なライヴアルバムです。象徴的な日本武道館を超極上サウンド&光景で刻みつけた『BUDOKAN 2018』も素晴らしいですが、この圧倒的なスペクタクルは比類ありません。
この熱気は長年愛され続けた『HYSTERIA』の再現だからこそ。ノリノリなくせに超タイトな唱和&喝采は大阪人だからこそ。そして、その両者の邂逅を美しく残し得たのは“最強”氏だからこそ。世界広しと言えど、2本とないであろう最熱気版『HYSTERIA』。ぜひ、ご体験ください。
