It became the last look of “DEEP Ritchie Blackmore of PURPLE” for the Japanese, Budokan last day in 1991. The Kinney live album that revived from the original DAT recording is the appearance! Japan tour due to “SLAVES AND MASTERS WORLD TOUR 1991” is a 4-performance schedule of all four days, was the order of the Budokan Budokan → → → Osaka Castle Hall Budokan. Audience album of the final performance this work became an additional performance, “June 27, 1991”. This is not the figure of Richie to the next to become the 1993 Japan tour, this day is exactly the Japanese witnessed the last of a “DEEP PURPLE of Richie”.
Such special Kinney DAT we have recorded a live, once “SLAVES AND MASTERS TOUR 1991 (9-106271 / 72),” the world came out thing as (it is confusing because it is the same title as the Osaka performances, is a different thing). This week, but we have also reprinted Kinney recording of Osaka performances as “OSAKA 1991”, at the same turned into CD also directly from the original DAT, carefully mastering. Already issued the CD early days as “SLAVES AND MASTERS TOUR 1991” was revived in stunning sound unbelievably the same recording. Its up degree in Osaka “OSAKA 1991” or more. After all, though was clearly spaced water to Osaka is already issued of Kinney, this time is thin enough to be about the same. At first, either the press CD, either the I was also plan to bonus CDR, division in Osaka and Tokyo faction faction even within the staff. As was the noodles by both press (to be honest, in the DEEP PURPLE Joe era so much heated for the first time of the thing. I sound to be in so serious). Vivid musical tone is extremely vivid, slightly distance also with its outstanding that felt a brilliant as different things, based as bass can also be felt until the amplitude to roar on the floor of the Budokan. All of the sound Kinney DAT have inhaled in the field I have been drawn to the superlative.
Also on it as “OSAKA 1991”, also realized the full version of the show. Supplemented with “Perfect Strangers,” a 6-minute stand of 19 seconds, “Knocking At Your Back Door,” an 8-minute stand already issued a cut of 9 seconds of “DIFFICULT TO CONQUER”. There is also originally in this cut songs between the part has nothing to do with performance, as it is left to you, such a place is not a big problem also, but “perfectly completeness”, “does not allow even unnaturalness of the moment” of the policy of It was supplemented to the original. Of course, it is also perfect finish of the joint in accordance with the policy. Greater more than that, unlike its outstanding earnestly thoroughly cut the place name, venue name “SLAVES AND MASTERS TOUR 1991”, that record remains intact. If you feel you have a pre-departure, we would like you to compare the sound by all means. In the already issued, Joe, etc. “Tokyo!” “Thank you for the gold disk” scenes and “I came from Osaka,” shout, likely will suggest the recording location points are cut entirely, in the ending of the “Black Night” is, put in the performance you shout “Tokyo!”, but it even was also chopped. In this work, not the whole story to listen to the scene as, it is possible to all of the show stagnation without experience. The full version does not stop just wonderful,’s the one that is brewed accidentally until the beginning of the industry mood of the ’90s that had been thoroughly up there.
Live it has been completed in such a perfect specification, just the best. Although Joe join is in the time was controversial, he has achieved because singing “Burn” also intensely impressed listening again now. Jon Lord is in DEEP PURPLE in 1975, Richie is a RAINBOW in 1995, but told me to play in this Japan, the two great men is Narabitachi, connect playing that solo …. After earlier in both, Nante …… the performance that could not be only in 1991, is poured into the freshness Pichi ear the sound of the original DAT unique, wonderful!
Also that Joe, strong voice that became Nobutoku husky than RAINBOW era. It also relaxed voice of RAINBOW era I good at it, sore sing that people of this era was the HR singer natural. It is combined with the shuffle rhythm, free mood of DEEP PURPLE, you of good old blues-rock scent is rising. Sung in the voice, “Black Night”, “Lazy”, that good living at the time of the new song “Fire In The Basement”! The brackets goodness, also largely due to the drumming of Ian Paice. Album “SLAVES AND MASTERS” In it is a drum that has been reduced to about whispered also sampling suspicion, here spree play the this production 100% of the Pace-beat. Is the jaws to Danjiru as “Paul Rogers type” to lightly feel the resistance, but to grew up listening to black blues man / soul singer at home the United States is the fact, that black roots in this work make me listen to the sheer tune. It is what at the time lock ……… that vividly dynamism on the swing feel of Pace, which was said to something “RAINBOW too”, “pop RAINBOW” is forgotten once, in retrospect as a blues-rock, is there also a live to be aware of the surprising nature.

Further pull out the true value of the best of Kinney recording, Budokan final performance became vivid to raise the bid to the top source of Joe era. It stands to Japan of stage “DEEP PURPLE of Ritchie” last night, and is (currently) Richie last Budokan performances. That is a monument serving 2 Disc finished the live to the best ever sound. The final chapter of a number of legends have been carved “Live at Budokan”, please enjoy please plenty.

“SLAVES AND MASTERS WORLD TOUR 1991”に伴うジャパンツアーは全4日間の4公演スケジュールで、武道館→武道館→大阪城ホール→武道館の順でした。
「Perfect Strangers」6分台の19秒間、「Knocking At Your Back Door」8分台の9秒間のカットを既発「DIFFICULT TO CONQUER」で補填。
その声で歌われる「Black Night」「Lazy」、当時の新曲「Fire In The Basement」の生きの良いこと!
