Deep Purple was formed in 1984 as a second member after a blank period of about eight years. In 1985, the first performance in Japan was performed. It was thought that purple would never be seen in Japan anymore, but coupled with the hard rock boom at that time, it would have been a long-awaited Japanese performance for Japanese fans. At present, Iangiran, who has a feeling of becoming short-haired and gray-haired, is also the youngest. The concert was a total of seven days, two days in Osaka and Nagoya, and a large scale of four consecutive performances at Budokan. This work includes not only the last day of the Budokan but also the Budokan performance on May 16, 1985, which concludes the performance in Japan. 約8年間のブランクを経て1984年に第二期メンバーで再結成されたディープ・パープル。1985年に久しぶりの来日公演が行なわれた。よもやパープルを日本で見る事はもうないだろうと思われていただけに、当時のハードロック・ブームと相俟って日本のファンにとっては待望の来日公演であったろう。現在は短髪白髪ですっかり好々爺となった感のあるイアンギランも若く、確執や恩讐を超えて参加したリッチーが在籍する最後のパープルの来日公演である。コンサートは全7日間で、大阪2日間と名古屋を経て、武道館4連続公演という大規模な点も、当時のパープル人気が伺える。本作は武道館最終日のみならず、日本公演を締めくくる1985年5月16日武道館公演を高音質で完全収録している。深紫に彩られた初夏の武道館ナイト。これぞヘビー・ロック！美しいピクチャーディスク仕様の永久保存がっちりプレス盤。日本語帯付。
