“HEATHEN TOUR” which realized the reproduction live of the famous board “LOW”. The finest soundboard album is now available on the 2nd press.
What is recorded in this work is “July 18, 2002 Montreux performance”. It is the stereo sound board recording. In “HEATHEN”, which teamed up with Tony Visconti for the first time in 22 years, he listened to music that was reminiscent of even the Berlin era, but it also spread to the stage. “LOW” reproduction has been realized. However, the reproduction performance of such “LOW” was not performed in all the performances, but only a limited show of only a few performances at the beginning of the tour. When I enumerate …

・ June 11 New York “HEATHEN IN NEW YORK”
・ June 29, London “HEATHEN IN LONDON”
・ July 12 Cologne
・ July 18 Montreux ← ★ This work ★
・ September 22 Berlin

The above 5 times have been confirmed. The tour warm-ups “June 11th New York” and “June 29th London” have been introduced in the audience recording, but the Montreux performance of this work is a stereo sound board recording. Of course, even if you say “sound board” in a bite, it’s a pinch. In particular, the quality of “HEATHEN IN NEW YORK (Uxbridge 551)” and “HEATHEN IN LONDON (Uxbridge 554)” so far was really excellent, so it was almost useless for shobo line recording. However, this work is the pin in the “sound board”. It is a superb item that can be officially released.
Actually, this recording itself has already appeared, but this work is a master carefully selected by a world-class master of Bowie research. The research is tremendous, and even if it is a standard sound source, the master’s sound that matches the glasses has a different taste and lid. Its solid knowledge and selection have been proven in masterpiece soundboard titles such as “HAMMERSMITH ODEON 1973 (Wardour-185)”, “ROTTERDAM 1976 (Wardour-186)” and “GLASTONSTONBURY FESTIVAL 2000 (Wardour-184)”. This work was also stamped by the researcher as “This is it!”, But this time it was also supervised by mastering. Even though it was the best master who had been carefully selected, the bass was a little thin when I listened to it carefully, and there was a difference in sound pressure for each part. Researchers are aware of this, and they gave me detailed guidance. The resulting sound of this work is perfect. There is no point in repeating the four or five detailed words, and the three letters of “official grade” make it a dignified finish.
The reproduction performance of the masterpiece drawn with that sound is exactly the completed form of “stage version LOW”. Of course, there are plenty of numbers other than “LOW”, so let’s organize the full set here.

● Main set / 1st Angkor

… And it looks like this. In the reenactment premiere of “HEATHEN IN NEW YORK”, the songs were performed in the order of the songs on the album from the beginning of the show, but as the reenactment was repeated, it gradually changed, perhaps because it was judged that it was not suitable for the concert. In this work, the full set + encore is performed in the normal concert format, and the album is reproduced in the second encore. The content has also changed, and the B side of the original album has been dismantled, with “Warszawa” at the beginning and “Art Decade” in the middle of the A side. Furthermore, “Weeping Wall” is omitted. As a fan psychology who overheard the album, I think “It’s a big deal, so it’s just like the album …”, but when I actually listen to it, this evolution is the correct answer. The majestic masterpiece “Warszawa” is suitable for the opening, and the flow that is not divided into the AB side on the way is so natural that you might think “should it be like this?”

As per the album, this work ends with the fantastic “Subterraneans” and ends with words that lie in the words of Claude Nobs, the founder of the Montreux Jazz Festival. It is a masterpiece among masterpieces that has been refined to the ultimate form of the best master of “LOW” live found by world-famous Bowie researchers. A super masterpiece live album where you can enjoy the true value of the masterpiece “LOW”, which was released from the analog composition of about 20 minutes on one side, on the official-class sound board. Don’t miss this second chance to get this historic one on the Permanent Preservation Press 2CD.

★ The best stereo sound board recording of “July 18, 2002 Montreux performance” which became a reproduction live of the famous board “LOW”. Further brush up the superb master that can be officially released from the original sound. Finished with the highest quality in history. The reproduction performance of the masterpiece drawn with that sound is exactly the completed form of “stage version LOW”. The song order that was disassembled from the B side of the album and reorganized for the stage was fresh, and the flow that was not divided into the AB side on the way made me wonder, “Isn’t it supposed to be like this?” This is a super masterpiece live album where you can enjoy the true value of the masterpiece “LOW” on the official sound board.

・6月11日ニューヨーク『HEATHEN IN NEW YORK』

Life on Mars?/Changes
Starman/Ziggy Stardust
Ashes To Ashes/Fashion
China Girl/Let’s Dance
Hallo Spaceboy
I’m Afraid Of Americans
Sunday/Cactus/Slip Away/I Would Be Your Slave/I’ve Been Waiting for You/5:15 The Angels Have Gone/Heathen (The Rays)/Everyone Says ‘Hi’
Warszawa/Speed of Life/Breaking Glass/What in the World/Sound and Vision/Art Decade/Always Crashing in the Same Car/Be My Wife/A New Career in a New Town/Subterraneans
