The legendary full-length soundboard album that goes beyond the official works has been upgraded. Introducing the permanent storage press 2CD.
“June 27, 2000 London performance” is engraved in this work. This is a stereo sound board recording of a special performance performed for a program at the BBC Radio Theater. This show is also known as the first act of the “MINI Tour”. As the name suggests, it is a special time that is different from ordinary concert tours, and we have introduced the record in our shop. First, let’s imagine the position of the show from the outline of “MINI Tour”.

・ June 16 “ROSELAND BALLROOM 2000 1ST NIGHT”
《June 17: New York performance (cancelled)》
・ June 19: New York performance (transfer)
・ June 25, “GLASTONSTONBURY FESTIVAL 2000”
・ June 27: BBC RADIO THEATER ← ★ This work ★

Above, all 4 performances. The main focus is the “Glastonbury Festival,” which appeared for the first time in 30 years. Before that, two warm-up performances in New York were held, and after the festival, one live TV appearance was held. This work is a concert that corresponds to the “one time after the festival”.

[Ultimate board re-digitized from Omoto Auction Master] As mentioned above, this show is familiar with TV broadcast pro shots for about 1 hour on the premise of broadcasting, and also officially released as a compilation CD “BOWIE AT THE BEEB (3-disc set)”. It has been loved as a record representing the “MINI Tour”. Such traditional products were only incomplete versions of the show, but the situation changed completely after Bowie’s death. Suddenly, the full version of Soundboard Master was put up for auction on the net, and the standard was changed at once.
The full version “THE LONDON BOY: BBC 2000” became very popular in our shop, but this work is also the same full version sound board, but it is a further upgraded version. The point is “re-digitization”. In our shop, we have introduced many of the highest peak versions of sound boards under the supervision of a world-class Bowie researcher, but this work is a retransfer from the full version master in-kind that the researcher himself put up for auction. .. As a matter of fact, the process itself was the same for “THE LONDON BOY”, but this time the accuracy has improved dramatically.
In fact, the sound is extremely natural. In “THE LONDON BOY”, the edges were sharpened and the peak was just before the limiter, as if conscious of the official “BOWIE AT THE BEEB”, but this work does not feel such an act. Of course, it doesn’t make sense if it’s a shabby sound, but it’s great because the details have been improved. You can clearly see that from the beginning of the first song. In “THE LONDON BOY”, “Wild Is The Wind” has a slight sense of instability, especially in the long tone of the chorus “Yooooou touch me ♪”. However, with this master, there is no such feeling of instability, and it flows cleanly while remaining stable.
Even bigger are pitch and tempo. In analog recording, the two elements are inseparable, but in digital, the two elements can now be adjusted individually. I don’t know if that’s the reason, but in “THE LONDON BOY” the pitch was good, but the tempo was slower than the original stage. In that respect, this time the researcher has determined the performance of the site from all the records of the day, and the pitch and tempo are reproduced as historically (for that reason, the scale is shorter than “THE LONDON BOY”, but the content There is no cut in).

[Volume of songs that overwhelms the official version and legendary stray performance] The ultimate revived is a full show whose set and contents are too special. First of all, let’s organize how the complete version is enriched by comparing it with the official version “BOWIE AT THE BEEB”.

● 60’s / 70’s Classics (13 songs)
・ 70’s album song: Wild Is The Wind / Always Crashing In The Same Car / The Man Who Sold The World / Fame / Stay / Cracked Actor / Ziggy Stardust (★) / The Jean Genie (★) / Starman (★) / “Heroes” (★)
・ Others: The London Boys (★) / I Dig Everything (★) / All The Young Dudes (★)
● 80’s / 90’s (9 songs)
・ 80’s album song: Ashes To Ashes / Let’s Dance
・ 90’s album song: Seven / Survive / Little Wonder / Hallo Spaceboy / I’m Afraid Of Americans
・ Others; This Is Not America / Absolute Beginners
* Note: The “★” mark is a song that cannot be heard on the official version “BOWIE AT THE BEEB”.

… And it looks like this. In “BOWIE AT THE BEEB”, you can realize whether you wanted to feature “the latest Bowie” or whether it was boldly cut with a focus on delicious classics.
And another possible reason for the cut is the poor performance of the day. In fact, this show is also known as the worst condition in Bowie history. It seems that the condition is not so good from the beginning of the show, but it gets worse in the second half. In “Ziggy Stardust”, I tried again without making a voice, and although I managed to sing, the following “All The Young Dudes” was also interrupted. While Bowie is absent, the band plays “The Jean Genie” on the instrument. After that, Bowie returns to the stage and repeats “All The Young Dudes” to complete the show with full-blown wounds. Perhaps these songs were too strict, they have been cut on TV and in “BOWIE AT THE BEEB”. Speaking of the latter half of the show, it is a part that gets excited with cr six, so it may be that the official version became more focused on the latest songs because this was cut.

It is the highest peak update version of the complete sound board master that far exceeds the official version. This upgrade is not based on so-called bootleg standards. Pursuit of transfer accuracy to maximize master freshness, which was originally the ultimate. This is similar to how to make the master sound of the official masterpiece into a CD. In other words, it should be talked about from the same perspective as “Mobile Fidelity” and “Nimbus Super Cut.”
A two-disc set of ultimate quality that has been pursued to such a dimension and refined. Please enjoy it with the permanent storage press CD.

★ Superb stereo sound board recording of the “June 27, 2000 BBC Radio Theater” performance. Although it has been officially released as “BOWIE AT THE BEEB”, this work is a complete version that far exceeds the official version. A world-class Bowie researcher has digitized directly from the actual Omoto Master, and the master freshness and transfer accuracy are the ultimate. The high drop feeling and instability of the conventional version have been eliminated, and an extremely natural master sound has been achieved. It is an inscription among the inscriptions that should be talked about in the same dimension as the official masterpieces such as the Mobile Fidelity Edition and the Nimbus Super Cut Edition.

『THE LONDON BOY』では「Wild Is The Wind」がハイ落ち気味の不安定感があり、特にサビの「Yooooou touch me♪」のロングトーンでは明らかに揺れている。

Wild Is The Wind/Always Crashing In The Same Car/The Man Who Sold The World/Fame/Stay/Cracked Actor/Ziggy Stardust(★)/The Jean Genie(★)/Starman(★)/“Heroes”(★)
