CINDERELLA in the late 80’s who reigned in the LA metal scene with a series of platinum albums. Introducing a definitive board that is a large collection of discontinued official videos that enriched the golden age. The images contained in this work are roughly divided into two types. DISC 1 is a pro shot live that represents “HEARTBREAK STATION TOUR”, and DISC 2 is a collection of video clips from “NIGHT SONGS” to “HEARTBREAK STATION”. Although the types are different, both are symbolic professional shots that will increase the golden age. Let’s introduce each one individually.
[DISC 1: “HEARTBREAK STATION TOUR” Pro Shot Live]
DISC 1 contains superb live footage from the “HEARTBREAK STATION” era. This is a multi-camera pro shot of “May 3, 1991 Auburn Hills Performance”. First, let’s look back on the position of the show from the schedule at that time.
● 1990 《November 20, “HEARTBREAK STATION” released》 ・ December 31: Tokyo Dome performance ● 1991 ・ January 9-20: UK (10 performances) ・ March 4-September 14: North America # 1 (79 performances) ← ★ Coco ★ ・ September 19-October 1: Japan (5 performances) ・ October 4th + 18th: North America # 2 (2 performances)
This is the whole picture of “HEARTBREAK STATION TOUR”. Their last performance in Japan is also memorable, but the Auburn Hills performance of this work was the main leg “North America # 1” that was held before that. It was the 26th performance of the concert. This show has long been known for its professional shots, but this work is the pinnacle of it. This is a precise reproduction of the DVD version from the excavation label in 2005. The quality is truly exquisite. As a matter of fact, it seems that it was not supposed to be released at the time of shooting, the image quality is analog standard, and the camera work is also a little excessive Tom Keifer centricity. However, considering the excavation criteria, the number of cameras is more than enough, and above all, I am glad that it is about 83 minutes long. And master freshness. It’s much more beautiful than the official reprinted footage. The beauty of the image is a show that concentrates and reduces the three prime pieces. Here, let’s organize the contents together with DISC 2. ● NIGHT SONGS (6 songs, 9 takes) ・ Live & Clip: Somebody Save Me / Nobody’s Fool / Shake Me ・ Live only: Push, Push / Night Songs / Back Home Again ● LONG COLD WINTER (4 songs, 7 takes) ・ Live & Clip: Coming Home / Don’t Know What You’ve Got (Til It’s Gone) / Gypsy Road ・ Clip only: The Last Mile ● HEARTBREAK STATION (7 songs, 10 takes) ・ Live & Clip: The More Things Change / Heartbreak Station / Shelter Me ・ Live only: Sick For The Cure / Make Your Own Way / Love’s Got Me Doin’Time / Love Gone Bad ● Others (1 song) ・ Live only; Falling Apart At The Seams
[DISC 2: Complete collection of 3 initial video clips + α]
That’s why DISC 2 is a collection of clips, which is also a reproduction of the highest peak version that was made into a DVD in 2005. It was made into a DVD at the same time as DISC 1, but this is a clip produced by investing a large amount of money, and it is a major Mercury that has been digitized. For that reason, the quality is much higher than DISC 1, and the image quality is so perfect that you can even feel the graininess of the original film that was shot. It is a treasure to be able to watch all 10 songs and about 47 minutes of the heyday clip with that quality, but it is not the only one. In addition to regular audio, the clip includes audio commentary by founders Tom & Eric Brittingham, as well as documentary films such as “TALES FROM THE GYPSY ROAD” and “MAKING OF HEARTBREAK STATION MUSIC VIDEO”. ing. This is too serious to be called a bonus, and it is a gorgeous image of about 45 minutes, which is comparable to the main clip collection.
Pro shot live, promo clip, documentary …… It is a 2-disc set that collects the best images of the heyday, which totals 2 hours and 54 minutes. That’s the same as the big names such as “NIGHT SONGS”, “LONG COLD WINTER”, and “HEARTBREAK STATION” … No, it’s a super masterpiece that enriches the charm of CINDERELLA. Please take this opportunity to fully enjoy the highest quality.
Disc 1: Live at The Palace of Auburn Hills 3rd May 1991 PROS-SHOT
