Brian Wilson has finally resumed his live performances as the vaccinated United States has begun to regain his daily routine around the summer. Originally, the performance in Japan should have been realized last year, but due to that hateful corona, it was canceled. For that reason, the tour that was carried out from the end of August under the name of “GREATEST HITS LIVE! 2021” was good news for enthusiasts all over the world.
The fastest release on CD-R from UXBRIDGE this time is a live performance at Waukegan in Illinois, which was the tour’s Chiakigaku.

Brian has been away from the live tour for over a year after the “GREATEST HITS LIVE! 2020” tour in February last year, so if it’s the last day of the tour since then, the beginning of the live will be tired. That also applies to Al Jardine, who accompanied him, and his singing “Help Me, Rhonda” is also tired. It is unavoidable that the two elderly people will become slow starters at the end of the tour.
However, Brian, who had Al sing a song and took a break, got better and better from “Salt Lake City”. Besides, the performance is outstandingly good. Meanwhile, Al’s son Matt shows off his beautiful voice in “Don’t Worry Baby”. He played an important role as an important member to revive the old number with a high key on behalf of his fathers.

Also, at the start of this tour, the Beach Boys’ gorgeous early 70’s anthology “FEEL FLOWS” was released, so not to mention the title song that was played last year, “Add Some” that was not on the set list at that time. Timely and enthusiastic crying that even “Music to Your Day” and “Long Promised Road” are taken up.
Among them, the latter is a wonderful memorial corner for Carl Wilson with Blondie Chaplin taking the lead vocal, and the arrangement that Reed is replaced by Brian on the way is also very moving.

And the ultimate is “It’s OK” recorded in “15 BIG ONES”. The performance here is also wonderful, and it can be said that it is a good example repertoire in which the Brian band, who has a reputation for dexterity and playing ability, continues to demonstrate their true abilities even after the tour resumes.
The latest live audience album that includes a repertoire of enthusiastic tears while being called “GREATEST HITS LIVE!” At the beginning, the balance of the sound output from the venue was weak as if to match Brian’s tone, but this also evolved from around the maniac crying song selection “Wake the World” to the finest sound quality with a sharp increase in the thickness of the sound. ..
A schedule for traveling to Europe has already been announced next summer, and revenge visits to Japan may be realized after that. In this way, the fastest release of a good sound source from the latest tour that was carried out as much as possible to become an active activity again!
