BON JOVI in 1986 was trying to conquer the whole earth with the astronomical hit of “SLIPPERY WHEN WET”. Introducing the finest original recording that conveys the scene of Britain swaying in the tremor.
What is recorded in this work is “November 23, 1986 Leicester performance”. It is the transcendental audience recording. Speaking of “SLIPPERY WHEN WET”, it is memorable that it was released during my visit to Japan, but the impact spread to my home country America and Europe at once. First, let’s look back on the schedule at that time and confirm the position of the show.

● 1986
・ July 14-26: North America # 1 (8 performances)
・ August 11-25: Japan # 1 (10 performances)
<< August 18 “SLIPPERY WHEN WET” released >>
・ August 30 + 31: West Germany (2 performances)
・ September 9th-October 18th: North America # 2 (21 performances)
・ November 7th-December 8th: Europe (23 performances) ← ★ Coco ★
・ December 19-31: North America # 3a (8 performances)
● 1987
・ January 2-August 9: North America # 3b (134 performances)
・ August 22: MONSTERS OF ROCK appearance
・ September 5th-October 17th: Oceania / Japan # 2 / Honolulu (25 performances)

This is BON JOVI in 1986/1987. Speaking of the UK performance of “SLIPPERY WHEN WET Tour”, the headliner of 1987 MONSTERS OF ROCK comes to mind, but at that time it is a special performance for one night only. The Leicester performance of this work was the 12th performance of the “Europe” tour, which was the invasion of Europe before that.
This work recorded at such a site is a miraculous one that can not be seen softly. After all, it is a product that is directly digitized from the original cassette of Mr. “Crazy S.”, a world-famous HR / HM in the 1980s. That’s enough, but in the case of this work, “1986” is also a point. In fact, 1986 was a special year for the “Crazy S.” collection, with a series of divine masterpieces. While mass-producing MARILLION, IRON MAIDEN, Gary Moore, etc. to the extent that the titles cannot be listed, all of them are super-name recordings. In other years, the highest peak sound of 2-3 levels is rumbling.
This work is also a work that proves such a “miracle 1986”. Although you can tell from the tone that it is an audience recording, there is no sense of distance in the thick core, and the details are super vivid. Richie Sambora’s youthful shred guitar is beautifully drawn one by one, and Jon Bon Jovi’s singing voice is at the sigh level. Moreover, the gap between each instrument is deep, and the three-dimensional effect of the ensemble is wonderful. There are some scenes where the vocals are too powerful and chattering at the peak, but the sound board is too trivial before the direct feeling and dynamism of running away barefoot.
The sound of such close contact is drawn at the front line of conquering Britain with each song. From the set, it’s right in the middle of the breakthrough. Let’s organize the contents here.

● Others (8 songs + α)
・ Runaway at dawn: Breakout / Runaway / Get Ready
・ 7800 ° Fahren Height: Tokyo Road / Silent Night / In And Out Of Love
・ Others: Pink Flamingos / The Boys Are Back In Town / Drift Away
● Wild in the Streets (6 songs)
・ Raise Your Hands / You Give Love A Bad Name / Wild In The Streets / Livin’On A Prayer / Let It Rock / Wanted Dead Or Alive

… And it looks like this. While the familiar “SLIPPERY WHEN WET” masterpieces are available, the early repertoire is evenly mixed. There are many famous songs such as “Breakout”, “Silent Night” and “In And Out Of Love” that you can’t hope for now. Also, on this tour, I played various covers on a daily basis, but on this day, THIN LIZZY’s “The Boys Are Back In Town” and Mentor Williams’ “Drift Away” were chosen.
And the performance of spelling such a set is Moretsu. This work is a live album without images, but you can see the sound running around while sweating with smooth skin. The beat is slamming forward, and the guitar is played and knocked down as much as I think, “Is Ritchie such a fast-playing guitarist?” And John. It’s not the dimension that the voice quality is youthful, but it is clearly uplifting and the shout is also gunless.
Furthermore, even the MC is hot. Especially the introduction of “You Give Love A Bad Name”. Nowadays, I’m dizzy when I introduce a song that makes the venue boil only with the intro, but that word is also amazing. “It’s the first video released three months ago. You probably know it, but sing without it.” Ask “Sing me” for “You Give Love A Bad Name” which is not any other song. Moreover, it was an era when it was possible that we didn’t know.
BON JOVI will return as a “MONSTERS OF ROCK bird” in 9 months. For them, Britain is the second home of live performances after the United States (more American bands than Canada are rare), but it’s fair to say that this tour has set their fate. A historic masterpiece in which “1986 Crazy S.” vacuum-packed such a show. Please experience the best in this work at the site in England where the times were swelling and writhing!

★ A transcendental audience recording of “November 23, 1986 Leicester Performance”. A direct digitized version of the original cassette of world-renowned Crazy S., 1986 was also his heyday, with a series of miraculous masterpieces. In fact, this work also has a very thick core with no sense of distance, and the details are super vivid. The shred guitar left to Ritchie’s youth is beautifully drawn one by one, and John’s singing voice is at the sigh level. The show is full of famous songs from “SLIPPERY WHEN WET”, as well as early captain songs such as “Breakout”, “Silent Night”, and “In And Out Of Love”. “You Give Love A Bad Name” is a masterpiece live album with a rich sense of the times even from one MC who says “Sing without knowing”.

★★ Ultra-high-quality recording that is normally suitable for press CDs. All of Crazy S.’s recordings in 1986 are really amazing! !!

Breakout/Runaway/Get Ready

Raise Your Hands/You Give Love A Bad Name/Wild In The Streets/Livin’ On A Prayer/Let It Rock/Wanted Dead Or Alive

「Breakout」「Silent Night」「In And Out Of Love」など、今では望めない名曲が散りばめられています。
特に「You Give Love A Bad Name」の紹介。 他のどの曲でもない「You Give Love A Bad Name」を「歌ってくれ」と頼む。
