THE BLACK CROWES came to Japan for the first time in 17 years for their 30th anniversary tour. The entire performance collection will be released at once!
This visit to Japan will be a total of 3 performances, and we will release it as soon as possible by dividing it into 2 titles. This work is a superb audience recording of the second performance “November 8, 2022: Zepp Osaka Bayside”. First of all, let’s check how all three performances of this time are divided.

A total of 3 performances at 2 venues. Tokyo was two consecutive performances at “Tachikawa Stage Garden”, and Osaka was only the final performance. This work recorded at such a show is also a superb audience with “super”. After all, this work was made by Mr. “West Japan’s strongest taper” who is familiar with our shop. It is a modern masterpiece that is always acclaimed as “just like a sound board” and “better sound than listening on site”, but this work is also wonderful to upgrade its gold signboard. The sound of the snare may have a slight sense of audiness, but that is the case when listening microscopically with headphones and “searching for evidence of customer records”. It is an ultra-direct sound that does not seem to be through space, such as a very thick core and a sense of proximity, fine details, and extremely low audience noise.
If you write like this, you may think that it looks exactly like “TACHIKAWA 2022 (Shades 1643)” released at the same time, but it has a slightly different personality. “TACHIKAWA 2022” had a different dimension sound art hall, but this work is more vivid. (Although the truth is that both are audience recordings) If you compare it, “TACHIKAWA 2022” is an official style, and this work is a type that approaches with a direct-to-desk sound board-like feeling.
A full show that is different from the two Tachikawa performances is depicted with such a thick and close-fitting sound. As I touched on in the commentary on “TACHIKAWA 2022”, this time the point is to completely reproduce the debut work “SHAKE YOUR MONEY MAKER”, and after that the normal part that randomly jumps the song is arranged. This normal part shows the individuality of each performance. Let’s organize it by dividing it into “common songs” and “daily songs” for the three performances in Japan together with “TACHIKAWA 2022”.

Even “Rock & Roll”, which is the only exception, is a cover of THE VELVET UNDERGROUND, and it was also the most classic-flavored show in three days.

30周年ツアーで17年ぶりの来日を果たしたTHE BLACK CROWES。その全公演コレクションが一挙リリース決定です！
今回の来日は全３公演で、当店では２タイトルに分けて最速リリース致します。本作はその第二弾「2022年11月８日：Zepp Osaka Bayside」公演の超極上オーディエンス録音です。まずは今回の全３公演をどのように分けているのか、チェックしておきましょう。

以上、２会場の全３公演。東京は“立川ステージガーデン”での２連続公演で、大阪は最終１公演のみでした。そんなショウで記録された本作もまた「超」付きの極上オーディエンス。何しろ、本作を手掛けたのは当店でもお馴染みの“西日本最強テーパー”氏。常に「まるでサウンドボード」「現場で聴くよりも良い音」と絶賛される現代の名手ですが、本作もその金看板を格上げする素晴らしさ。スネアの鳴りにわずかなオーディネス感が滲んだりもしますが、それはヘッドフォンで顕微鏡的に聴き込んで「客録の証拠探し」をした場合の話。芯の極太感や間近感、ディテールの細やかさ、極端に少ないオーディエンス・ノイズなど、空間を介しているとは思えない超ダイレクト・サウンドです。
こう書くと同時リリースの『TACHIKAWA 2022（Shades 1643）』とそっくりと思われるかも知れませんが、やはり個性がやや異なる。『TACHIKAWA 2022』は異次元サウンドのアート館を漂わせていましたが、本作はもっと生々しい。（どちらも真実はオーディエンス録音ではあるものの）喩えるなら『TACHIKAWA 2022』はオフィシャル風、本作は卓直結サウンドボード風のムキ出し感で迫るタイプなのです。
そんな極太・ド密着サウンドで描かれるのは、立川２公演とも異なるフルショウ。『TACHIKAWA 2022』の解説でも触れましたが、今回はデビュー作『SHAKE YOUR MONEY MAKER』の完全再現がポイントでして、その後に曲をランダムに飛騰する通常パートを配置している。この通常パートで各公演の個性が出ているわけです。それでは、『TACHIKAWA 2022』とも合わせて来日３公演の「共通曲」と「日替わり曲」に分けて整理してみましょう。
