As with the “PLEASE PLEASE ME” spectral series, the album version of the “WITH THE BEATLES” center mix version will also be released. Of course, “WITH THE BEATLES SESSIONS: IN SPECTRAL STEREO” is an album based on the concept of reproducing a recording session. Especially in “ Hold Me Tight ”, it is the most delicious place from mania, such as the documented from the birth of the master take to the overshoot of vocals, but for beginners because “ the same song is repeated many times ” Of course, it feels hard. Here is a summary of the completed version of the center mix for each album.
Since the purpose was to document the session to the last, this “ WITH THE BEATLES SESSIONS: IN SPECTRAL STEREO ” reviewed the contents of Lord Reith’s “ YOU KNOW YOU SHOULD BE GLAD! ” And the album that was recorded there Some of the version center mixes are omitted. “It Wo n’t Be Long” and “Do n’t Bother Me” correspond to this, but they are adopted according to the concept of reproducing the contents of a normal album. As a result, for the session-centric “WITH THE BEATLES SESSIONS: IN SPECTRAL STEREO”, this is a very easy-to-understand content called the center mix version of the album itself. The center mix version of the above two songs can only be heard on this CD.

”Like the time of“ PLEASE PLEASE ME ”, the center mix created by Lord Reith using the latest technology is an amazing level. The stereo, where vocals and performances are clearly divided into left and right, has been improved by mania for a long time, and the nostalgic version of Dr. Ebbetts will be famous. However, the Dr. Ebbetts version reveals the limitations of technology at the beginning of the 21st century, and the effect of singing the vocals to the center diminishes the sense of separation of the performance, rather it becomes monophonic. Because of that, there was a sense of incongruity when returning to the original position in a place where there was no song, and there was simply a fatal unnaturalness that “sounds shake”.

However, in this version, the vocals moved to the center, but I was amazed by the wonderful finish that the performance was separated into left and right. This album, famous for its four-faced jacket, shot by Robert Freeman (died on the 8th, Gassho), has finally made it possible to listen to the center mix with a natural finish.

In particular, the brilliant separation and high degree of perfection in songs such as “You Really Got A Hold On Me” and “Devil in Her Heart” on the B-side of the album make the mania revived. Only “Money (That’s What I Want)” which ended the album, as a result of distributing the two mono mixes completed on the left and right of the stereo at the time of album production, the performance is separated while the vocal is in the middle In other words, it was made with elaborate work that could be called the pioneer of the center mix, so this time only the same song has been diverted from the normal version. Anyway, the center mix is amazing. There is no doubt that the masterpieces that you have been accustomed to hearing will sound fresh. Please enjoy carefully with headphones this time!

「WITH THE BEATLES SESSIONS: IN SPECTRAL STEREO」も当然ながらレコーディング・セッションの再現をコンセプトとしたアルバム。
あくまでセッションをドキュメントするのが目的であったことから今回の「WITH THE BEATLES SESSIONS: IN SPECTRAL STEREO」はLord Reith作「YOU KNOW YOU SHOULD BE GLAD!」 「It Won’t Be Long」と「Don’t Bother Me」がそれに該当するのですが、こちらは通常のアルバムの内容を再現するというコンセプトに沿ってそれらを採用。

特にアルバムB面の「You Really Got A Hold On Me」や「Devil in Her Heart」といった曲における見事な分離と完成度の高さがマニアを唸らせるのでは。
