Another concept of “MONOLONGER” by Lord Reith that realized shocking stereoization of BBC radio sound source, it is another take that has been officially released, session scenery, or an unofficial rare sound source I tried to make a stereo recording of a monaural recording or a monophonic recording only. The “STUDIO SESSIONS 1962-1969: IN SPECTRAL STEREO” is a compilation of these two discs. Although the content is a stereo feeling that is easy to understand compared to the simultaneous release “BBC SESSIONS 1963-1964: IN SPECTRAL STEREO”, it is still very enjoyable content.
First of all, the first disc is full of rare studio takes and sessions that were officially released. The core of that is the takes that were recorded in each “ANTHOLOGY” series. It is natural that the sound source before and after the debut was originally a monaural recording, but above all, it is goosebumps that has been reborn into a wonderful stereo state from the sound source of the EMI audition recorded at the beginning. Who would have predicted that the day would come when that Pete Best would hit the drums on a stereo version of “Love Me Do”? With the current technology of demixing, instruments can be naturally separated up to this point. In the same way, even the oldest recording takes such as “How Do You Do It” and “Please Please Me” have been made into stereo.
However, on the first disc, the demix realized by Lord Reith shows its true value in the session scenery from 1964 to around 65 years and another take heard in each “ANTHOLOGY”. It was strange that they were all remixed in monaural or near monaural. Lord Reith who turned his attention to each sound source was made into stereo. Not only that, for example, in Take 2 of “Kansas City”, the glaring echo that was made when recording “ANTHOLOGY 1” was eliminated, and as a bonus, the back chorus transplanted from the album version (Take 1) was completely erased. Although it did not reach the goal, it has suppressed it considerably, and the efforts to return to the state at the time of the original session are tearful.
On the other hand, “Can’t Buy Me Love” take 1 is still a take that can only be heard from the playback sound source that picked up the sound from the studio speakers (so-called the audience recording status in the studio), but let’s make it stereo I was surprised because I showed it as

Regarding the second disc, we have realized the rare take stereo that has been widely spread through unofficial items for a long time, but from a mania’s point of view, this may come as a surprise. For example, if it was said that the stage before overdubbing was done in “Your Mother Should Know” and “I Am The Walrus” heard in the old yellow dog “ACATATES” was stereoized, that alone would be intriguing. It is sure to be done, and there is no doubt that they will be surprised by the finish reborn into stereo. The latest version of “It’s All Too Much” complete version and “Revolution 1” long version, which appeared about 10 years ago and drew maniacs, are now in stereo.
By sewing those gaps, we are trying to make even the most maniac sound source stereo in each of the first and second pieces, and it is different from the vocal of “Help!” which is famous for being heard only in the original movie sound. Take, based on a recording of the Beatles recording of Paul’s Sila Black’s “Step Inside Love” rehearsal (this is another awesome separation!) or when Ringo sang on George Martin’s TV show. “Octopus’s Garden” is a stereo version of another version, and the mania’s unique commitment is one of the arrival points of the “SPECTRAL STEREO” challenge that Lord Reith has released so far.
And even in the latest official Deluxe Edition series, even though it is not as “ANTHOLOGY” as before, some of the sound sources have been made into a stereo that is a monophonic finish. For example, a session sound source of “SGT. PEPPER’S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND” such as “A Day In The Life” in “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise)” or “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” that George played alone Perfectly stereo. Furthermore, Lord Reith, who was dissatisfied with the finish of the version released last year, was able to reborn “Come And Get It” with a wonderful sense. Even though it is a different take or session in stereo, it can be enjoyed by beginners and enthusiasts alike!

同じように「How Do You Do It」や「Please Please Me」最古の録音テイクまでもがしっかりステレオ化されているのです。

Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise)」に「A Day In The Life」といった「SGT.
