そしてビートルズ・マニアだけでなく、ロック・マニアの必須アイテムとも言えるビートルズのラスト・コンサートの音声ドキュメント。さらに細かい音源の改良点に関しては別項をご覧ください。先月のリリース後の瞬殺Sold Outで悔しい思いした方も、今回は絶対にお見逃しのなきよう。元々が長いライブではありませんが、ビートルズ最後のステージにして、CD一枚でサクッと聞けてしまう聞きやすさも大きな魅力。それでいて音源の8割がステレオで収録されているという、驚きの編集による仕上がりがまた魅力的。先に申しましたように、ファースト・エディションとはミックスが異なる仕上がりでもあるので、コア・マニアであれば今回のバージョンも手に入れられずにはいられないかと。
