ファースト・アルバムに伴う1982年ヨーロッパ・ツアー最終公演地に選ばれたのはロンドンのウェンブリー・アリーナであり、本盤は、その10月27日と28日に開催されたロンドン公演（同年唯一のイギリス公演にして初の英ライブゆえ広告にも「BRITISH DEBUT」と副題されていた。）の初日、27日公演を、録音者のマスターカセットよりダイレクトに高音質完全収録しています。本公演には、12年前にAyanamiレーベル初期カタログとしてウェンブリー2デイズを収録した同タイトル4枚組が存在していますが、本盤で聴けるそのサウンドは、まさに「比較にならない程の」極上サウンド。音質の差、音の鮮度の良さは一聴・瞭然であり、これならそのままプレスCDでのリリースが相応しいのでは、と思われるほどに優れたサウンドで、この記念すべきロンドン凱旋公演初日ショウを楽しむことができます。（既発をご記憶の方は、イントロのファンファーレサウンドのクリアーな響きに大変驚かれること思います。まるで別物のサウンドであり、ジェネの違いでここまで音質に差が出るものか、と改めて驚かされたります。）1982年のエイジア公演の良質なオーディエンス録音盤は限られており、その中でも4月29日ボストン公演を収録した「DRAGON MASTER」が、史上最強のタイトルとして君臨していますが、本盤は、ツアー後半のヨーロッパ＆UKツアーを代表する一枚として位置付ける事ができます。長いツアーを経て、アンサンブルのまとまりも最高レベルに達しており、ロック・バンド然とした、生々しい音の質感も含め、全てが最高グレード。商業的大成功を収めた後のロンドン凱旋公演ゆえ、高揚感やポジティブなムードが音からビンビンに伝わってくる感じです。4人の良い意味での大雑把なタイム感が独特の味わいを醸し出しており、この微妙な音の味わいは、1982年ツアーならではであることが良く分かる音源です。この時代ならではのキーボードやギターの音の質感・音色は素晴らしく、最初から最後まで一気に聴き入ってしまうこと間違いありません。考えてみると、ハウはイエスのトーマト・ツアーでのロンドン公演を同じ会場で、1978年の同時期に行っているわけで、4年間での変貌ぶりに改めて驚かされたりします。内容も聴き所満載で特に次作に収録されるリン・ドラムを実験的に導入したMidnight Sun、オリジナルな味わいと聴き所にに満ち溢れたOne Step Closer、2部構成で劇的に演奏されるThe Smile Has Left Your Eyes、Cutting It FineからHere Comes The Feelingへのつなぎとして演奏されるジェフのキーボードソロパートもこの時期ならではのパフォーマンスが聴け非常に新鮮です。なぜか、驚く程に感動できる一枚。これはお薦めです。
