そんなステージを収録した本作は、まさに「超」付きの極上プロショット。前作『GRASPOP METAL MEETING 2022』も完全オフィシャル級でしたが、本作はすべての面で上回っている。オフィシャル作品にも優劣があるように、本作は「完全オフィシャル級」レベルでもズバ抜けた傑作なのです。
まず何より、カメラワーク。『GRASPOP METAL MEETING 2022』も不足はなかったものの、本作はさらにセンスが良い。これはスタッフの能力差でしょう。すでにMEGADETHでもMSGでも両フェスのプロショットをご紹介しているわけですが、いずれの場合もHELLFESTの方が優れていました。それ以上に決定的なのがショウ内容。曲数・出来映え、見応えのすべてで本作が上なのです。ここで比較しつつセットを整理しておきましょう。

そして、そんなセットを綴るパフォーマンスも素晴らしい。正直なところ『GRASPOP METAL MEETING 2022』はアリスがハズし気味で「さすがの御大も歳には勝てないか……」とも思わせたのですが、本作では絶好調。30年前・40年前と変わらない歌声を披露してくれるのです（思い返せば、MSG篇でもロニー・ロメロがボロボロ。今年の“GRASPOP METAL MEETING”はスタッフ側に根本的な問題を抱えていたのかも知れません）。さらに言えば、前作『GRASPOP METAL MEETING 2022』は日の高い明るい時刻だったのに対し、本作は日が落ちてからの出演というのもポイントが高い。明るいのも健康的で悪くないですが、やはりホラー・ショウは闇夜こそが本領です。
何から何まで『GRASPOP METAL MEETING 2022』を超えてきた最新アリス・クーパーの超極上プロショット。『SCHOOL’S OUT』から50周年となる「2022年の帝王アリス」を体験するのにこれ以上ない代表作です。そう確信させるスキ無しの絶対映像。どうぞ、刮目してお楽しみください！
