1984年1月の日本ツアーを大成功させたアルカトラスが行なったUSツアーよりミルウォーキー公演を収録。音質は当時のオーディエンス録音としては上々でピッチも正確に収録されています。イングヴェイの超速弾きプレイが非常にクリアーに収録されており、どの曲でも彼の唯一無二の強烈なソロ&リフ・プレイを文句なしの高音質で楽しむことができます。Night Gamesの前に「東京で録音した「Live Sentence」収録の曲」というMCが入ります。グラハムのボーカルも非常に安定しており、高い部分でもしっかりと出ており、この日の好調ぶりが伺われます。「次はマイケル・シェンカー・バンドの曲、マイケルと俺が書いた曲」とMCでスタートするDesert Songもあのリフに割って入るような光速プレイは、今聴いても凄いインパクトがあります。メンバー紹介はEvil Eye の後にありイングヴェイは大喝采を浴びています。グラハムのAll Night Long 後半のLooongのボーカルの伸ばしは最高です。とにかくこの時代のイングヴェイの迸るような速弾きはキャリア中でも最高であり、それがこれだけクリアーなサウンドで聴けるのは堪りません!ハード・ロック史に残る奇跡の共演をリアルな高音質で収録したファン必聴の一枚が登場です。

聴いてワクワクする84年音源がリリースされた。ジャケに日付が記載されていないがNight Games手前のMCで入る”LIVE SENTENCE”をアナウンスする様子やLost In Hollywood の後半でインギーがソロの最後におちゃらけメロディを入れている事、そしてセットリストの並びから考えて84年3月~5月頃の演奏と考えて間違いないと思う。ちなみに、同84年のミルウォーキー公演(7月7日)を収録したレトロな既発タイトル『THE FINAL ATTRACTION (no label)』とは別音源である。この日の演奏は何と言ってもNight Games、Desert Song、Kree Nakoorieに尽きるだろう。アンサンブルの一体感とグルーヴ感が抜群に良く、そこにインギーの光速フレーズがリズムの間隙をぬいながら縦横無尽に絡んでゆく様子(特にDesert SongとKree Nakoorie後半は強烈だ)には鳥肌が立つと思う。これは是非本作を聴いて胸を熱くして欲しいところだ。またそんなインギーに隠れて見逃されがちだが、Jet To JetやLost In Hollywoodに於けるヤン・ウヴェナの、素晴らしくリズミカルで的確なドラミングにも耳を傾けて戴きたい。
音源そのものについて触れると、これはマスターテープがそうなっているのだと思うが、曲間でカットがあり、インギーのソロの1分07秒付近でフェイドアウト→インする箇所がある。但し、音を聴く限り他日の音が編集によって挿入されている様子は無いので全てこの日の演奏で間違い無いと思う。またオーディエンス録音ながら音質良好でピッチも正確に収録されており、優れた演奏を違和感の無い音で聴き通せる点も特筆される一枚だ。最後に、日によって良し悪しの差が激しいグラハムの歌唱だがこの日は終始大変安定しており、中でもKree Nakoorieでの歌唱表現は珠玉のパフォーマンスである事も付記しておく。
