Sometimes intertwined, sometimes Mickey and Laurie’s twin leads claiming their individuality, as well as full-length listening place. In “Cover Me In You” which was not picked up in the previous year ‘s live “UNIFIED KINGDOM”, let the listener understand the fact. Following “My Angel” which Chris’s strong vocal and band’s unifying feeling play draws a listener hard, Mickey will play a lot of Keren tasteful solo time. 今から２年前の2013年初頭、SNAKECHARMERのアルバム・デビューは、ブリティッシュ・ロック・ファンの間で話題を呼びました。元WHITESNAKEのミッキー・ムーディとニール・マーレイに加えて、元WISHBONE ASHのローリー・ワイズフィールドが名を連ねたこのバンドは、これだけでもまさに「古き良きブリティッシュ・ロック」を体現するような存在。そこにHEARTLANDのクリス・ウージーがパワフルでブルージーなヴォーカルを聴かせ、ドラムは元THUNDERのハリー・ジェイムズ。そしてリック・ウェイクマンの息子（・・・という以上に、いまやOZZY OSBOURNEやBLACK SABBATHと活動を共にした）アダム・ウェイクマンがキーボードとして参加するなど、実力派ぞろいの多彩な顔ぶれも魅力でした。大ベテランから中堅、そして若手まで、英国ロックのエッセンスを幅広い世代から注入されたバンドのサウンドは、単に懐古趣味的な位置づけに留まるのではなく、今を生きるバンドとしての輝きを放っていました。
このSNAKECHARMERが、今もバンドとして活動を継続していると聞いて、意外に思うファンも多いのではないでしょうか？　来日公演が実現していないという事情もありますが、日本の音楽メディアに取り上げられる事もほとんど無く、1stアルバム発表から２年もの歳月が経過している。熱心なマニアを除いて、多くのファンにとっては「そんなバンドもあったね」というのが実感かも知れません。
しかし彼らは、ユニット結成の2011年から現在に至るまで、コンスタントにライヴを継続し、バンドとしての活動を維持しています。メンバーそれぞれが多忙なために回数こそ限られているものの、2014年も約20回のステージを披露。今年もすでに３回のショウを行っています。「そんなバンドもあった」どころか、しっかりと「今を生きて」いるバンドなのです。
そのSNAKECHARMERにとって本年２回目ライヴである、１月17日のイギリス，ミルトン・キーンズ公演が、録音者提供のオリジナル・マスター使用、極上のオーディエンス・サウンドでここに音盤化です！　録音はBLACK SABBATHのプレスCDタイトル「CELEBRATION GATHERING」や、バーニー・マースデンの「BLUES FOR BERNIE: Milton Keynes 2013」を録音した、イギリス屈指の名テーパーによるもの。なによりこの人物はSNAKECHARMERが昨年の同会場（2014年１月26日）で披露したライヴである「UNIFIED KINGDOM」を手がけた本人でもある。ちょうど一年越しのライヴを、同会場で同一テーパーが、それも極上の実況録音で再び捉え切る・・・・・・「UNIFIED KINGDOM」を聴いたマニアはもちろん、ブリティッシュ・ロックを愛するファンなら絶対に見逃せない、音質・内容保証付きの一本です！
