It recorded for about 2 hours on the Boston · Garden performance on February 4, 1978 with an angry super high sound quality audience recording · This is the first appearance. I used the new master released by Dan Rampinsky. It is a wonderful recorded version which has not been circulated until now. The shocking thing is this super high quality sound for the first time in the lump pinning ski sound source definitely the top class, it is unbelievable that it is an analog recording of the time, even a kind of unrealistic sensation drifts, drifts just like the unprecedented It is recorded with the super sound of. In accordance with the release of “Works Vol. 2”, in the 18 North American tours conducted from January to March 1978, at this time, ELP performed a live performance with a tremendous schedule that was almost the same as the previous day There is something great in perfection and tension of the performance, and fans will not be able to listen to that performance with this high quality sound. Of course not only Keith ‘s brilliant fingering but also Greg’ s singing voice at that time is at its peak with both voice volume and technique, you can enjoy its attractive deep voice with the best sound, which is also the only one. From the end of The Enemy God of this day, Nutrocker, and the beginning of Pirates, there was a delay in tape change, or there was some trouble at that time, there is a missing part of about 5 minutes recording which is rare for Rampin ski · take . Because Nutrocker was not originally recorded, I did not insert other performances forcibly, but in the Piano Concert No. 1 1st Movement where there was a cut point 0: 36 ~ 0: 44, 10 of Pictures At An Exhibition : 37 ~ 10: 43, and Pirates 0: 00 ~ 1: 20 mentioned above borrowed from the same year ‘s “wWorks” tour of the same year’ s “wWorks” tour from recording of the same lumpin ski, and compensated without feeling uncomfortable (To the extent that is not told I do not understand. The cut of 1: 31 ~ 2: 00 of Show Me The Way To Go Home has been compensated from the line recording of the previous year’s Weing Performance also here without feeling of discomfort. I think that you can understand the high quality of this sound source even if you do not insert a line recording, because it is sound quality enough to cause unnaturalness in the connection. In addition to this, recording problems can be confirmed before Lucy Man, but this is also due to the master. However, these deficits can be said to be trivial in front of the first appearance sound source of this two hours. Although it is an exaggerated word for the Rampinski sound source, it sounds as if you brought in a DAT recorder to the Boston Garden in 1978 and recorded it. Hoedown enjoying a sharp performance, magnificent and spacious Tarkus, Take A Pebble inserting a piano concerto, entertaining listeners with a different charm from the first half of the 1970s Pictures At An Exhibition. In addition, a variety of song selections in the second half, Pirates directing the huge peaks of the show, dynamic performance and listening place of the 2 big sign songs of late ELP of Fanfare for The Common Man are all packed with the highest sound quality of the ultimate level You can enjoy it with. I think that there was also the influence of PA of the day, but the sound quality that was originally good was recorded with sound that is not extratastic from the middle of disc 1 to the whole disc 2 as it progresses as the concert progresses . Although the tour of this period has been released both official live and video, this highest sound quality audience recording version will convey the high quality performance of the band more attractively than the official and broadcast sound source more . It is no exaggeration to say that an excellent audience recording is the best sample over line recording. I think that press CD is still suitable for this terrible take. Please enjoy “heritage” of the unprecedented sound that Rampinski left to our music fans in the best form.

。Show Me The Way To Go Homeの1:31~2:00のカットは前年のウィーリング公演のライン録音からこちらも違和感なく補填してあります。
