In “NO MORE TEARS” released by Ozzy in 1991, “Retirement of live activities for this work” was announced, and the tour name was “No More Tours”. The “Declaration of Retirement” was withdrawn in 1995, but the tour was held in a special mood of “this is the last” and left a strong impression on the fans.
In this work, the Seattle “Seattle Center Colliseum” performance on June 11th, which is the middle of the tour, is completely recorded for about 1 hour and 50 minutes with a highly stable professional shot. The same kind of material appeared in this video a while ago, but in this work, the upgraded version is recorded as a 2-disc set to keep the image quality and sound quality.
The original master is the video that is dubbed the projection material for the screen into the video, and it is not as clear as the current digital master, such as some dubbing marks being confirmed on the screen. However, as a video master more than 20 years ago, the sharpness and color development are also good. In addition, the voice is a line sound source directly connected to the table, and not only Ozzy’s vocals and Zakk Wylde’s guitar, but also Randy Castillo’s powerful drum play and Mike Inez’s bass line, all of the band ensemble is in front of you. You can enjoy it as if you were listening to it. Because of the line direct, the cheers are only picked up by Ozzy’s microphone, so the viewer will be able to enjoy the band’s play as if they were monopolized without being disturbed by anyone!
The first part of the first song “Desire” is only audio, and the following “Mr. Clowley” also has a part where the sound becomes unstable in the middle, but other than that, it is almost perfect stability. Ozzy’s presence, which energeticly runs around the stage and incites a large crowd, and Zack’s dynamic performance, which is shirtless, shakes his hair, and plays the guitar, will have a strong impact on the viewer. “I Don’t Know” and “Flying High Again” from Randy Rhoad’s era, “Shot In The Dark” from Jake E. Lee’s era, along with new songs from the time such as “Road To Nowhere” and “No More Tears” The set that includes a lot of famous songs such as is also worth listening to and watching. Every song is dyed in a free-spirited and powerful Zack color (among others, “Suicide Solution” even gives the impression of his own song)!
However, the performance is not all about excitement, and in “Goodbye To Romance” where the melodious play of Zack style shines and “Mama I’m Coming Home” in the latter half, he has high skill and emotional side. You will feel it. Furthermore, there are plenty of highlights unique to this period, such as “Paranoid”, which is rarely performed in the middle stage, and Miracle Man from the previous work “NO REST FOR THE WICKED”.
At the climax of the live, the magnificent “War Pigs” and “Bark At The Moon”, where the venue barks together, explodes! The last is the promised “Crazy Train”, which will be the ending of the big circle.
Beginning with the Randy Rhoad era, activities with Blood Gills and Jake E. Lee, and collaboration with Zakk Wylde, Ozzy has always entertained fans with the strongest and best live performances. Especially in this 1992 live, there was a “declaration of retirement”, and the way of getting excited and the reaction of the fans were orders of magnitude. It will be a tour that will be noted in his career.
