1982年1月24日から2月2日にかけて全9公演が行われた THE CLASH 唯一の来日公演。日々セットリストが代わり、過去にリリースされたタイトルも極めて少ない事から、コアなファンでさえもその全貌を知る事が出来なかった本ツアーですが、今回新たに発見された4公演のソースからその片鱗を窺う事が出来る、近年のTHE CLASHのタイトルとして、衝撃のタイトルが登場です。Part1には、ツアー初日1/24 渋谷公会堂公演と、ツアー2日目大阪フェスティバルホール公演を超高音質ステレオ・オーディエンス録音で収録。TV中継された2月1日公演と共に、アンコール未収録の既発盤が存在し、本ツアーで最も認知されている初日公演は、唯一「Should I Stay Or Should I Go」がオープニングに据えられた公演。異様な盛り上がりを見せる聴衆をたしなめ演奏される「One More Time」、続く「Safe European Home」からはジョーの体調不良を全く感じさせないツアー初日の壮絶な演奏が繰り広げられ、そして最終のアンコールに「Bankrobber」「Complete Control」が演奏された、最も認知されていながら実はセットリスト的に最もレアな公演です。ツアー2日目となる大阪公演は、この後の日本公演のみならず82年ツアーの定番となる「London Calling」がオープニングに据えられた公演。初日公演で演奏されなかった4曲が追加され、4度のアンコールに応えた圧倒的なステージを聴く事が出来ます。両公演共に音質は驚くべき高音質で全編が収録され、初日は完全収録、2日目は「Clash City Rockers」でテープチェンジによる欠落が有ります。1982年来日公演から新たに出現した衝撃のタイトルです。
