Speaking of Nakano Sansuraza ‘s performance, which was the final day of Tokyo, many famous SABBATH maniacs are famous live performances of radio broadcast FM sources and stereo sound boards of stakeholders more than audition recordings. Items that were regarded as masterpieces in the past were on the market, but added to the topmost sources of those broadcasting sound sources and sound board sound sources, plus an audience recording cut out the truth of live from the audience seats plenty of realism, This is a 3 piece set of this work “DEMONIZATION” released from the Shades label which compiled three sound sources into one package.

On Disk 1, we recorded “Mixing Desk Version”, which is a stereo sound board sound source that leaked from stakeholders, for about 70 minutes from the opening intro “Supertzar” to the show end “Iron Man”. Although this sound board sound source is already known as “ANGEL AND DEMON”, this work is superb clear and brilliant sound that makes you feel high freshness beyond them, master with the traditional obstruction and noise felt I make a big difference.
This sound source is the same sound that the technician who corresponds to the sound setting of the hall was listening for confirmation on the monitor. It is a masterpiece that the performances on stage are unfolded in front of you. From “War Pigs” where the Sabbath World will begin curling, the heavy guitar of Iomi naturally requires Ronnie ‘s freedom to manipulate Giza’ s dark bassy bass, Dynamic Vinnie Appis’ drums, and audience audiences You can listen to the vocal as if you take it in your hands.
At the same time, the atmosphere of the venue is moderately mixed, listening to the official live work such as the cheering excitement when “Neon Knights” started, clapping like the ripples of “Children Of The Sea” intro Even such an illusion falls into it. Giesser’s bass solo in the midst of “Heaven And Hell” where Iomi left the stage is the best listening response and you can realize the strength of the sound board sound source. Because I end recording with the end of “Iron Man”, I will concede to “EVIL MAN” in documentability, but the standard value is still not lost.

On Disk 2, you can enjoy “FM · Broadcast Version” on the radio on the same day from “Neon Knights” 1st broadcasting to “Iron Man” for about 59 minutes. This FM broadcast version is the most popular and has produced many items from multiple air check sources. In this work, carefully selected those masters, remastered the materials judged to be the best quality, and alleviate the noise as much as possible and make it sound. Clear sound with less turbidity, dynamic sound image superior in spread of sound, is overflowing with entertainment more than Disk 1.
This broadcast source is a unique existence among the three recordings of this work, mix is quite different with “sound heard at the venue”, soundboard sound source and audience recording, Jeff Nichols’ keyboard is on the left channel, IOMI’s guitar It is clearly separated to the right channel, respectively. Especially Jeff’s keyboard is conspicuous sound, with other sound sources you can understand with a clear sound that the keyboard ensemble is hard to grasp. Arrangements such as ‘O. I. B.’ and ‘Sweet Leaf’ in the Ozzy era are interesting and everyone will listen carefully. It is regrettable that it is weak for less than 60 minutes due to the convenience of broadcasting, but it is a sound source unbearable to mania!
In case
And on Disk 3, we recorded superb audience recordings over 70 minutes 17 seconds from original master, which was not even known among traders. EVIL MAN “which recorded the equipment right from the front row of the auditorium, although it does not go anywhere, still the situation of the venue is gathered in the lightness and clearness which can be said to be more than enough as auditorium recording 38 years ago It is recording with direct sound.
In this work, I am listening to the opening and introduction for the longest time, and furthermore, it is a great word that its outstanding documentability is excellent, such as song introduction (about 20 seconds) of “Black Sabbath” intro which was cut on Disk 1 .
Although there is a slight sense of distance between the stage and the taper, since it is possible to enjoy plenty of disks 1 and 2 as the source of “the performance is in front of me”, in order to know the air feeling of the venue and the spread of the sound, It is something that there is meaning as much as a session recording of this work. Furthermore, while playing, it is almost unlikely to get in the way of the voices of other audiences, and since you are picking up the musical sound well, you will not be stressed and listening. Enthusiasm for crowd Ronnie, excitement at “HEAVEN AND HELL” recorded songs is realistic, and you can fully enjoy the taste of live tapes that Disk 1 and 2 can not taste.

Even after the masterpiece “EVIL MAN” has appeared, this work which contained the live of this day with three kinds of masters has a certain presence and fun. Not only sound board and FM source, audience recording take, it is not just a sub text of “EVIL MAN” at all! A three-sheet set that documented the last day of Tokyo ’80 the last noteworthy in SABBATH history is a must-read one for all hard rock / heavy metal fans!

★ It is a review summary of beatleg magazine vol. 105 (April 2009 issue). For your information.

From the first tour of BLACK SABBATH’s visit to Japan in November 1980, CD-R recorded the stage on the final day of Tokyo performance – 18th in the sound desk’s sound board sound source, broadcasting sound source, audience recording sound source. Regarding this visit to Japan, it is mentioned at the time of HEAVEN AND HELL ‘s coming to Japan in October 2007 issue of this issue, but on this day, did the hard schedule of four performances for three consecutive days came, Tony’ s somatic condition Although the set / list was abbreviated and there was no encore, it was an unwilling stage for both the band and the audience, but since this stage was recorded and broadcast by the state-owned FM station, many items have been added since analogue boot era It has been released. First, Disc-1 is a sound board sound source of the mixing desk which is also included in “ANGEL AND DEMON” (Faith Record: 1 CD), although there is a slight difference in hiss / noise, almost the same sound quality It is recorded. Disc-2 contains a broadcasting sound source that cut announcer’s comment that several items such as “SABBATH DAY’S JOURNEY” (SHOW COMPANY: 1 CD) etc are released. Although there is a difference in sound localization, it will be the best class as sound quality. On Disc – 3, master cassette sound source of the first appearance audience recording which can also be said to be the feature of this item is recorded. It is recorded exactly from the opening SE’s “Supertzer”, and except for having a tape change change with “Black Sabbath”, this stage’s stage is almost completely recorded, and overall good sound quality Audience recording of.
As long as you listen to the sound on this day’s stage, Tony’s guitar play is also a bad physical condition, but Tony on the stage has been able to see that there is no spirit due to the smoothness of the face, Tony And for the band it would have been a disappointing stage. As items that recorded the stage of this day, it is best to put together three sound sources including the first appearance audience recording, so I want you to get fans without hesitation.
