From 1988 “Japan” tour accompanied by “depression” Osakajo Hall performance on the 2nd day, March 9th performance was fully recorded with high-quality audience recording. Directly used master cassette which has not been circulated even among traders. Since the live sound itself of this day is first appearing, it can be said that it is good news for the floyd sound source collector. Throughout, it is recorded with stable nature and punchy sound. Although the flashyness of the sound is not felt so much, although the vocal part somewhat lacks directness compared to the instrument part, there is no annoying audience around, but the musical sound itself has been recorded firmly, very calm You can enjoy the full picture of the show with easy-to-hear sound. Parts with a particularly low number of sounds are recorded with a clear and direct sound similar to a radio sound source. A “crazy diamond” is arranged at the opening, a “depression” album in the first half, a familiar set in which classics are lined up in the second half. The latter half of Comfortably Numb’s guitar solo and One Slip’s technical base solo part is a listening place. At the moment, collector essential board which documented Floyd’s last Osaka performance with the best sound.

★ It is a review summary of beatleg magazine vol. 95 (June 2008 issue). For your information.

From the Japanese tour in the 16 years since the winter of 1972, the pattern of the second day of Osaka performance is recorded. Although it seems that it was recorded from a position slightly away from the stage, a good unpublished good audience sound source which has not been circulated also among traders has been used. In the story of an acquaintance who went to see the performances on the first day, vacant seats are quite conspicuous in the audience seating, and Dave Gilmour does not say that he said “Please come tomorrow as well”. Perhaps the second day was the same situation as the first day. As a result, there was no cynical audience around the recording person, and most of the factors that hindered the recording were excluded, but the reason why the audience’s enthusiasm is not transmitted at all throughout is still lonesome as a concert Thing. However, as a precious record of the Japanese performance, the material value is a first grade product, so I definitely want to collect it.
