On November 25, 1975, the Osaka Health Pension Center performance was completely recorded with “astonished” super high quality audience recording. I used a completely original master cassette that has not been circulated even among traders. There is a place where the sound slightly fluctuates in the introduction and the first half of Four Holes In The Ground, but the other part is captured by a perfect sound image excellent in stability so much that the trivial minus point is regrettable. Although it is not a matter of performance, it is regrettable that PA noise runs to the piano of Dove …. Quando. Following Franco’s acoustic guitar solo and Omakyu Out Of Roundabout are impressively recorded as line recording and it is impressed. The second half of the solo play part is also awesome, you can enjoy it just like this, with excellent freshness sound, the transcendence ensemble play just as its name is suitable for the word of masterpieces. The audience in Osaka, which enjoyed the show relatively coolly, was also moved to document Cellebration, which was repulsively played at the end of the last minute. As a PFM live board, it is a high-quality board since “Reading Festival 1973” (Reel Master), and it can be said that the definitive version of “one in five years” appears. 1975年11月25日、大阪厚生年金会館公演を「驚愕の」超高音質オーディエンス録音で完全収録。トレーダー間でも一切出回っていない完全初登場マスターカセットを使用。分離感抜群の音質もさることながら、既発未収のショウ後半も完璧に収録した本年度プログレ・ライブ盤最強の1枚。オープニングは「皆さんようこそ、大きな拍手で迎えてください。PFMです。」という日本語紹介から収録。演奏はこの日は特にドライブ感が感じられ、初の極東ツアーということで、メンバーの気合も十分で、最初から最後まで、圧倒的なライブ・パフォーマンスを楽しむことができます。Four Holes In The Groundのイントロと前半部で若干音が揺らぐところがありますが、その些細なマイナス点が惜しいと感じるほど、他のパートは安定感抜群の完璧な音像で捉えられています。演奏の問題ではありませんが、Dove….QuandoのピアノにPAノイズが走ってしまっているのが残念です。続くフランコのアコースティック・ギター・ソロや大曲Out Of Roundaboutはライン録音並にきれいに収録されており感動します。後半のソロプレイ・パートも凄まじく、圧巻という言葉がふさわしい、その名のとおりの超絶アンサンブル・プレイを、鮮度抜群のサウンドで、これでもかとばかりに楽しむことができます。それまで比較的クールにショウを楽しんでいた大阪の観客も、最後の最後でリプライズ演奏されたCelebrationに奇声をあげてノリまくる様子が感動的にドキュメントされています。PFMライブ盤としては「Reading Festival 1973」(Reel Master)以来の高品質盤であり、まさに「５年に１枚」の決定版登場と言えるでしょう。プレス盤専門の新レーベル「Virtuoso」第一弾です。

イタリアが誇るプログレ・バンド、PFMの初来日公演となる1975年11月25日の大阪厚生年金会館公演を完全収録した2枚組み。当然オーディエンス録音だが、音を遮断する障害物が一切ない、透き通るような音で収録されている。あの時　のPFMは新ヴォーカリストのベナルド・ランゼッティを加えた6人編成であり、史上最も分厚い音を出していた時期でもあり、そのパワーが失われることなく収録されているのは嬉しい限り。フラヴィオ・プレモーリの弾くローズ・ピアノからザーザーといったノイズが出てくるので、「Dove….Quando」のイントロ部分でのバラードでちょっと聴きづらいが、他は概ね良好である。逆にフランコ・ムッシーダによるアコギのソロ・パートは全くノイズのないクリアな音で収録されており、ある意味オフィシャル盤「クック」をも超えている。特に圧巻なのはディスク2のほとんどを占める怒涛のインプロヴィゼーション大会だ。パートごとにタイトルがついているものの、「アルタ・ローマ」とヴァイオリン・ソロは合計23分、「ハーレクイン」からベース・ソロ、ドラム・ソロ、そして「9月の情景」へと続くメドレーでは合計22分にも及ぶ演奏が延々と繰り広げられる。ベルナルド・ランゼッティがリード・ヴォーカルをとるライヴはオフィシャル盤も発売されていないため、このクオリティで聴けるのは奇跡としか言いようがない。
