A tour (“Drive ‘Til You Die Tour”) accompanied by the release of the album’ A Farewell To Kings’ (1977) which is the sixth work in total, and 137 books dated from 17 August 1977 to 8 April 1978 ), From January 12, 1978 the Providence performance was recorded using the Rampinski Master. Tour of the North America tour until the end of January 1978, the UK tour in February, the North American leg again in March and April has finished the tour. Although it is rare, there is a sense of distance feeling slightly, but it is also exceptionally different from ordinary audience thing only for Rampinkishie recording of flukki, band, sound, and audience are captured in a well-balanced and well-balanced manner, It is recorded with outstanding sound quality with some realism! From this time on, the set list of one performance will be mostly fixed, but it can be said that this is because it became possible to perform a show that made a firm decision making as a head liner. Only three days of January 12 (Providence), 13 (Uniondale), 14 (New Haven) in 1978, stood on stage as the opening act of the Blue Oyster Cult, and the three performances were finally rushed Will not stand on stage as the undercard, so the Providence performance this time is a very rare stage. It is this Providence performance which will be one of the 3 performances, but although only 5 tracks were played only on the undercard, but in any case during the rush history, only during the most vigorous performing of the live, the quality A very high ensemble of definitely all is listening at all, Bustille Day ~ By-Tor And The Snow Dog ~ Xanadu ~ A Farewell To Kings ~ 2112 The angry waves ensemble that the short tension never falls but it is short It is impressed! (Unfortunately 2112 will fade out before the coda of the finale.) Using the Rampinski Master, the Providence performance on January 12, 1978 which is the very first appearance, Ideally packaged fan essential items It is a release decision from the Uxbridge label!

★ It is a review summary of beatleg magazine vol.124 (November 2010 issue). For your information.

One year has passed since the release of the Rampinski sound source which began in the summer of 2009, titles more than 10 dozen have already been shared. RUSH’s new sound source was never released after the Boston performance of “Tour of the Hemispheres” was released in the very beginning, but on the 22nd of August 2010, the second one finally arrived It appeared. That is the source of the CDR, “Providence 1978” released from the Uxbridge label this time. The date is January 12, 1978. It is the final stage of “A Farewell to Kings tour”. The tour also increases the number of sound sources from UK tour starting in the middle of February, but only nine kinds of North American performances have been known so far. Moreover, the North American performance of 1978 when the year passed is the first such sound source. In addition, this day was one of the last undercard performances for RUSH. The set list is 6 songs and about 50 minutes. Half of the time at head liner, there may be some fans who are disappointed at this point, but rather I am delighted to listen to precious undercard playing. The show begins in the mouth by Skip Glidersleeve as usual, and (2) – (4) progresses without problems. However, in the ending of (4), there is a problem with Geddy’s pedal base, and the gap between (5) which should continue while the sound is ringing will be broken. It seems that the cable is in poor contact. Normally, it is a place to stop the performance once to solve the problem, but this time the undercard performance with limited time. I will not stop stopping the performance, while puzzling, Alex starts playing the arpeggio without synths. Neil will continue, too, but Geddy would have been taking all the trouble to solve it. Following by the bass guitar is not done. As it is, Alex and Neil only continue playing for a while, will it be a pedal / base without playing as it is? I gave it up and it was 2 minutes 15 seconds, the interlocking delivered in time for the intro’s excitement, and the play continued without problems. It seems that the spectacle on the stage where Geddy and the crew are repairing the equipment in a panic situation appears to the eyes. If it was not play as an undercard, I could not listen to such a tense press. I also want to thank Rampin ski in that sense. The sound quality is said to be worse in his recordings. There is a distance to the stage, especially early stage is unstable and it is made to be jerky. And, even so, it is a Rampinski sound source. It was sufficiently high sound quality as audience recording at the time, and it is possible to listen to fine performances. For example, you can enjoy playing that you have not heard in other lectures such as “Discovery” in (7). It is regrettable that the ending of that (7) is cut off, but since it is only a few cuts, it will not affect many people. Anyway, it is a new sound source to listen to fans. Those who are not listening are sure to come.

Bastille Day~By-Tor And The Snow Dog~Xanadu~A Farewell To Kings~2112と短いながらもテンションが全く落ちる事のない怒涛のアンサンブルは、まさに感動ものです!(残念な事に2112はフィナーレのコーダ手前でフェードアウトしてしまいます)まさに初登場となる78年1月12日プロヴィデンス公演を、ランピンスキー・マスターを使用し、理想的にパッケージしたファン必携のアイテムが、Uxbridgeレーベルよりリリース決定です!

『A Farewell to Kings tour』の終盤となる公演だ。
