“NO FILTER TOUR” in 2018, when it came to completion in success. This week, when the ultimate press album “MARSEILLE 2018” that recorded the French edition appears, we prepared one piece that can be said as video footage.
Of course it is contained in such a work, “Marseille performance on June 26, 2018”. This year’s schedule was “UK nine performances → five European performances”, but this week we also released the three-piece R title “STUTTGART 2018” and the gift work “PRAGUE 2018: THE VIDEO” in addition to “MARSEILLE 2018”. First of all, let’s organize the collection in the schedule of five continents of Europe.

And, it is like this. The Marseille performance of this work moved to the Continent of Europe and is the second performance. It was a concert between the German performances before and after. This work which recorded such a show is a masterpiece picture which can witness a full show with 6 superb view cameras. However, it is not multi-camera editing. While experiencing the majority of shows through a wonderful viewing main camera, we complement four songs “Just Your Fool”, “Paint It Black”, “You Got The Silver” and “Sympathy For The Devil” (“Before They Make Me Run” which did not appear in Marseilles performance show, only full show is tailored by take of Stuttgart performance). There is also a cut between songs, so it is not strictly a full show, but one piece that you can enjoy all the songs in the field feeling.
And, the main camera of the bottom has a wonderful presence. I catch diagonally from the 1st floor seat on the right side of the stage, but jumping over the top of the audience or being highly raised, I shoot the stage directly without shielding objects. Moreover, it is close to the stage, and the flower road also goes side by side. Although it is a one-camera, from the shot of Ronnie’s closest neighbor to the spectacle of the big hall through the back of Mick, you can see the scene with a variety of sights. Also, the sound is wonderful for the sight. A sturdy core felt nearly jumps straight and clear up to one word of lyrics. Although it can not be compared with the masterpiece press “MARSEILLE 2018” as expected, the glossy recording without distortion is very easy to hear and can be immersed in the performance and singing voice that can not beat the bustle of the site.
It is overnight that can be said as the last rare show, that is drawn with that quality. To tell the truth, in 2018, the staple became more solid as we got through the stage, and the change per live came less. After Cardiff, the opening was standardized by “Street Fighting Man”, Keith Corner which changed every night was also fixed to “Before They Make Me Run” and “You Got The Silver”. These points are the same for this Marseille performance, but delicious “Get Off Of My Cloud” and “Fool To Cry” are selected for daily songs. The former is the second time since the Cardiff performance, the latter was also a shocking second since the first day in London. The three shows since Stuttgart, as it was a surprising feeling that daily changes are not unexpected, so this Marseille performance is also the last show you can taste a fresh feel.

遂に完結を迎えた2018年の“NO FILTER TOUR”。そのフランス編を記録した極上プレス・アルバム『MARSEILLE 2018』が登場する今週は、映像編とも言える１枚もご用意しました。
そんな本作に収められているのは、もちろん「2018年６月26日マルセイユ公演」。今年の日程は「英国９公演→欧州５公演」だったわけですが、今週は『MARSEILLE 2018』以外にも３枚組Ｒタイトル『STUTTGART 2018』やギフト作『PRAGUE 2018: THE VIDEO』も同時リリース。まずは、ヨーロッパ大陸５公演の日程でコレクションを整理しておきましょう。

・５月17日-６月19日：英国（９公演）
・６月22日：ベルリン公演　『BERLIN 2018: THE VIDEO』
・６月26日：マルセイユ公演　【本作】
・６月30日：シュトゥットガルト公演『STUTTGART 2018』

と、このようになっています。本作のマルセイユ公演は欧州大陸に移って２公演目。前後にドイツ公演を挟まれたコンサートでした。そんなショウを記録した本作は、６台に及ぶ絶景カメラでフルショウを目撃できる傑作映像。とは言っても、マルチカメラ編集ではありません。素晴らしい見晴らしのメイン・カメラでショウの大部分を通し体験しつつ、そこから漏れた４曲「Just Your Fool」「Paint It Black」「You Got The Silver」「Sympathy For The Devil」を別アングルで補完したもの（マルセイユ公演の映像が登場していない「Before They Make Me Run」のみ、シュトゥットガルト公演のテイクでフルショウ仕立てになっています）。曲間などにカットもあるため、厳密にはフルショウではありませんが、全曲分を現場感覚で楽しめる１枚なのです。
そして、肝心のメイン・カメラは臨場感が素晴らしい。ステージ右寄りの１階席から斜めに捉えているのですが、高く掲げられているのか観客の頭上を飛び越え、遮蔽物なしでステージを直写している。しかも、ステージにも近く、花道も真横を通る。ワンカメではあるものの、ロニーの間近ショットからミックの背中越しに大会場のスペクタクルまで、多彩な光景で現場を一望できるのです。また、サウンドも光景に相応しく素晴らしい。間近に感じる逞しい芯が真っ直ぐに飛び込み、歌詞の１語１語までクリア。さすがに傑作プレス『MARSEILLE 2018』とは比較できないものの、歪みもない艶やかな録音は非常に聴きやすく現場の喧噪に負けない演奏と歌声に浸りきれるのです。
そのクオリティで描かれるのは、最後のレア・ショウとでも言えるような一夜。実のところ、2018年も場数を踏むほどに定番が固まっていき、ライヴ毎の変化は少なくなっていきました。カーディフ以降、オープニングは「Street Fighting Man」が定番化し、毎晩変えていたキース・コーナーも「Before They Make Me Run」「You Got The Silver」に固定化。このマルセイユ公演もこうしたポイントは同じなのですが、日替わり曲に美味しい「Get Off Of My Cloud」「Fool To Cry」がセレクトされているのです。前者はカーディフ公演以来の２回目ですし、後者も衝撃的だったロンドン初日以来の２回目。シュトゥットガルト以降の３公演は、日替わり分も意外じゃないのが意外な感じでしたので、このマルセイユ公演はフレッシュな感触を味わえる最後のショウでもあるのです。
