Origin · Scorpio · label released in 1993 as “Old Masters 3rd” label masterful masterpiece masterpiece album “MAD SHADOWS” released from remaster and renewal after nearly 25 years since announced! Originally the title name of Mott The Hoople’s album “MAD SHADOWS”, this stones board is an editing board which gathered studio outtakes from ’64 to around ’73 at the time of the presentation It was popular titles such as the first appearance of songs and sound quality improvement take and many recurred by Scorpio ‘s head family and Russian SRS record a round copier than copy label. Recording of chess in ’64, etc., the songs rooted in their R & B orientation are becoming more song selections, and in the early days of Decca there were few unexpected trucks with good sound quality So good quality sound source recorded at the time of enrolling in brine It was thought that being a board was one of the reasons for popularity. In making this CD this time, the “MAD SHADOWS” part of Disc 1 is convinced over all the troublesome remastaring such as pitch correction of each song, level alignment, etc. from the upgrade tone generator of hand at all I spent my passion to raise the content to the level where I go.

Touch the contents, the 1 to 5 ’64 chess recording adopts a stereo sound source. There is less hiss than the yellow dog version, and the high range also clears. “DO NOT LIE TO ME” is a wide mix with good left and right separation that is different from those of metamorphosis recording, one that does not have fade-out of ending. 7 is a metamo recorded version that credits were missing on the master. 8 is a real stereo with out-take in the aftermath period. 9 counts with early version at RCA studio. 10 is the outtake of the famous BETWEEN THE BUTTONS period and has the best sound quality so far. 11 is the early version of the famous Street Fighting Man. This also spreads right and left and it is upgrading wonderfully. 12 is a promo · video version of “Ye, Ye”. 13 is a stereo mix with different acetate versions of vocals. 14 is another mix of genuine releases, a rough mix version made in the ’70s. It is this take that mania was listening and knocking down. 15 is an acoustic version that was not officialized. 16 Jam sound source that is said to be the first session of Stones and Taylor that does not have much opportunity to hear with exact speed at eleven minutes. 17 is the rehearsal sound source of the ’72 tour. Robert Johnson ‘s famous blues number before the war was a former news story of 8, but owing to the blatant pakuri 8 entered the store. (LOL) 18 ~ 20 is an outtake of “goat’s head soup”. Although it was short in the past record and the recording speed was fast, it had not been released in a decent state until now, but this time it was recorded with neat remastered and was sunny in the best condition so far. However, since the original is a cassette sound source, the sound quality is slightly inferior to other tracks in this album. 16 songs except 4 songs of 6, 9, 10, 12 are recorded stereo.

Disc 2 also contains a large amount of valuable out-takes at the UK Decca period, which was released under the name of Scorpio / Label (BAD WIZARD) as a mountain. The content recorded on this disc is almost the same as what BAD WIZARD released in 2007 as “TIME TRIP VOL.5”. It was the timing when the 4th set of the compilation board “TIME TRIP VOL.1 ~ 4” of the early to mid-term studio session from DAC was just released. Although the content of “TIME TRIP VOL.5” was very wonderful, it was the situation of a lot of problems, such as out of head due to miscellaneous editing by Scorpio, incorrect tape speed due to the problem of the original sound source. An interesting one, Scorpio’s rare sound source is that after a certain amount of time has elapsed since the release, the upgraded versions of the same sound source appear anywhere from anywhere and are at the higher traders’ associates . Actually this “TIME TRIP VOL.5” also released a title of the same content as “KEY TO THE HIGHWAY” from Ruttle Snake Label without taking much time from release. As can be seen from the fact that the rattle version bothers “MASTER TAPE VERSION” on the sleeve, it is woken up from the sound source of the newly acquired upgrade as you can see from listening to BAD WIZARD board, rather than copying it, editing it. I assume that there are not a few collectors who replace the BAD WIZARD board with the Rattle Snake board and possess the latter. Of course, this board also constitutes the upgrade material as the main as well as Rattle Snake as well as the existing copy. “TIME TRIP VOL.5” was not so good in the mastering state, there were some noticeable hiss noise depending on the songs and there was a problem of head disappearance etc. mentioned above. In contrast to the rattleboard “KEY TO THE HIGHWAY”, although the sound quality has been dramatically improved throughout the CD as a result of the use of the new master, although it is not known whether the acquired sound source problem or the mistake in mastering, each recorded tracks Digi-noise and error sound occurred in 2 or 3 places per song. Therefore, using the original tape source, solve various problems such as gender badness of the original master of BAD WIZARD, head disappearance, digitization of Rattle, deviation of pitch common to both labels at once and solve these rare take It is this board that was planned under the greedy intention to record it all at once in the best condition.

Nine songs from 1 to 9 are from a tape-to-tape dubbing session in the studio to take a copy of the Italian version of AS TEARS GO BY, which was recorded in chess in Chicago or in Regent in Chicago It is a state rare / take parade from a really miscellaneous location. It is one of the rare maniacs who are rare and rare to have come out to the world in exchange of money to the underground without the direction of the disposal in the form like an auction after the tape is found. Despite having been copied at half speed tape speed of 7.5 ips instead of normal 15 ips, the sound quality and tape condition are near perfect. Seven songs from 1 to 4, 6 to 8, which probably will not remain in the warehouse of the UK Decca, can be said to be treasure-like songs for fans. 1 is a cover of Arthur Alexander, 5 is a count, 4, 7 and 8 are demo recordings for other artists. 6 is Botsu’s song written by Bill Wyman. 9 is a state in which the overdub of the harpsichord that can be heard with the regular edition in the state just before the completion version is not done. 2 and 3 are rare recordings which became a big topic when released at chess recording. 2 is the early version recorded ’64 years. Compared with the release version, it is finished in a feeling quite mature. “TIME TRIP VOL.5” delicately headed out, and the release of “GENUINE BLACK BOX” was released afterwards, although the out-of-the-head was resolved, a big snippet with a snap snaps on the first note of the intro’s guitar State. Rattle’s “KEY TO THE HIGHWAY” dramatically improved the sound quality but the pitch is fast and the snippet of the digi-noise is still as it is. 3 is a rare take that rumors are both guitar and Maddy Waters, it was shocking that it was recorded at this time. “TIME TRIP VOL.5”, “GENUINE BLACK BOX” are somewhat generic but no head cuts. In “KEY TO THE HIGHWAY”, the sound quality was improved, but the phenomenon of the introduction chipping of the guitar not found in the above two points was seen. In the main board, the same song as above is recorded for the best sound quality without damage, accurate tape speed for the first time. 10, 11, 12 are collections of backing tracks for CBS Ed Sullivan show in ’66. 10 is a shortened version whose scale was shrunk to 2 minutes 20 seconds on the program formation. 12 ending guitars have different take and phrases than release versions. Brian is pretending to live on the screen. The six songs from 13 to 18 are real stereo version of the initial single song that first appeared in Scorpio’s “DARTFORD RENEGADES”. It seems to be a mixing session held at the US RCA studio ’66, and is divided into two reels at the speed of 15 ips. Three songs of SATISFACTION, GET OFF OF MY CLOUD, GOIN ‘HOME stereo versions that were not included here were also created. (A sound source different from the stereo mix recorded in HOT ROCKS 1 in the English CD) 13 is finished in an unclear clarity of echo deepening to give a chaotic atmosphere with the idea of Keith. In the right mix on the right side of the ending you hear the play phrase of the brass being mixed out in the regular mix. 14 is a separate stereo mix in which one sound of Brian’s sitar “JARA – N” which is supposed to be heard from the right channel after Charlie ‘s drum beat of the intro is mixed out. This is troublesome as it is not counted in Zentgraf’s document or Hofffmann’s list. 15 is a stereo version of another vocal. 16, 17 are regular take and vocals are the same take take a stereo version. 18 stereo mixes are not uncommon now but this is an extended mix with a longer performance time than the regular stereo mix with a slow fade out for 6 seconds. 19 is unexploded mono / mix that can hear the intro’s redo before OK Take. 20, 21 is the first CD in the new record which is not included in the past record. 20 is backing usually with the version, Keith sings the intro’s “What a drag it is getting old ~ ♪” part, Mick’s vocals themselves are still unexplored versions of the entire take. 21 is an unusual take that added 15 additional vocal versions of mono / mix with Keith’s additional guitar and overdub that I could not hear until now, which ended up being unpublished. Especially sound quality of disc 2 is mono / stereo recording of good state so as to be able to sell regularly as it is. As a sequel to DAC version “TIME TRIP” 4CD which received very popularity, I believe that this work is also a must have in addition to the collection by all means.

SATISFACTION、GET OFF OF MY CLOUD、 GOIN’ HOME
