そうした中でキース・コーナーの二曲だけは、いかにも彼らしく非常にルーズな調子でイントロが始まってしまいますが、それでもなおバンドの演奏はしっかりしている。もちろんタイトさが増した訳ではないのですが、ツアー序盤のような今にも止まってしまいそうな危うさが払拭されている。

やはり全体的に絶好調なのがこの日のストーンズ。ショー中盤から終盤にかけて聞かれる演奏がまた「いつも通りのストーンズ」。そんな中で面白いのが「Street Fighting Man」。この曲もまたチューリッヒで往年の勢いを取り戻した曲ですが、ここでは途中からバンドの演奏が暴走しだしてしまい、いつ終えるとも解らないような飽和状態に向かいかけてしまいます。結局は元のさやに納まって演奏が終わるのですが、まるで演奏が乱れかけてしまったことを悔いたかのようにキースが一人でもうワン・フレーズ弾いて演奏が締めくくられるのが面白い。それはここまでのいい感じに演奏出来ていたことの証とも呼べるでしょう。ツアー序盤のような締まりのなさから来た混乱ではなく、むしろ各人のやる気が空回りしたからこそ、このような展開になってしまったのではと。いずれにせよ、ヒヤヒヤするようなハプニングと言うよりも、むしろ面白い混乱だと言えるでしょう。
それにこの演奏を境として、この日のキースは勢いづいたようにも感じられるのです。その最高に愉快な場面が「Start Me Up」のイントロ。明らかにフライング気味にキースが始めてしまったことから、すぐに手を止めています。そこで機転を利かせたミックが「Take 2!」と発してから仕切り直しで演奏が始まるのだから何とも愉快。さらにキースは「Jumping Jack Flash」においてもイントロをフライング、「Satisfaction」ではイントロじらすなど、演奏するのが楽しくて仕方ない様子が伝わってきました。

そして今回限定のプレスCDにてリリースされる音源ですが、元になったオーディエンス録音の音質が実に素晴らしい。その音質ランクは初日ハンブルクとルッカに並ぶレベル。つまりオンな音像な迫力たっぷりの音源ということ。これにて「NO FILTER」ツアー最高音質オーディエンス録音の三強が出揃ったことになります。そのオンな音像だけでなく、ここにちょっぴり加味されたエコー感がまた絶妙。音像が近くもマイルドな味わいの音質が他の高音質二公演とはちがった大きな魅力となっています。
今回のリリースに当たってはそのエコー感を微調整ながらも手を加え、より聞き心地の良さがアッパーな段階へと進化。それにこの高音質がストックホルムでストーンズが聞かせてくれた頼もしい演奏ぶりをリアルにドキュメントしてくれる。今週の「NO FILTER」ツアーからの二タイトルリリースはどちらも演奏内容が本当に充実していますが、それぞれの雰囲気や魅力はまったく違う。勢いのデュセルドルフと力強さのストックホルム。言うなれば「柔」と「剛」それぞれの魅力が演奏から溢れている。そんな二つの名演の聞き比べも楽しめます！
