From the 2006 tour of Roger Waters which featured album “Madness” full reproduction in the latter half of the show, June 8, Germany recorded Berlin performance with unprecedented super high quality. アルバム「狂気」完全再現をショウ後半にフィーチャーしたロジャー・ウォータースの2006年ツアーより、6月8日ドイツはベルリン公演を空前の超高音質で収録。第一部の前半にフロイド･クラシックを配し、後半にソロ作から4曲、久々のライブ演奏となったSheep、第二部には「狂気」全曲、アンコールに「ウォール・メドレー」というフロイド･ファンの誰もが満足できる最良のセットを披露。本盤はとにかく音質が格段に優れており、間違いなくロジャーの2006年ソロツアーの決定的な音源の登場と言えるでしょう。やはり「狂気」ナンバーはアルバム曲順どおりに演奏してこそ、楽曲の魅力が100％生きることを確信できるコンサートとも言えます。演奏･音像、その全てが完璧なパーフェクトな録音です。まさに究極の逸品。また、初回納品分に6月2日、ポルトガルはリスボンで行われた「ロック・イン・リオ」でのステージを放送デジタル･マスターより約1時間30分に渡って収録したDVDが付きます。こちらも画質･音質ともに完璧なクオリティで収録されており、現在、流通しているヴァージョンより長めに収録されています。（テロップが流れた後に現地の司会者の紹介でショーのダイジェスト映像が流れます。）この日は珍しくIn The Freshをアンコールに演奏しており、その代わりにショーはHappiest Days Of Our LivesからAnother Brickでスタートするという珍しいオープニングになっており、なかなか貴重なテイクになっています。ショウの前半を収録していることで、Shine On You Crazy Diamond、 Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun、そしてSheep(!)などのフロイド･クラシック、ソロ･ナンバーの2006年演奏ヴァージョンをプロショットで堪能できると言うそれは素晴らしい内容になっています。全てのファンに大満足頂ける超高品質タイトルの登場です。

2005年の「LIVE 8」で第三期ピンクフロイドにロジャーが合流し、全盛期のメンバーが一堂に会した。しかしながら、継続的な活動にはいたらず。ギルモアはソロアルバムをリリースし、ツアーも開始した。それに対抗するかのようにロジャーもツアーを開始したと勘繰ってしまうが、実際のところ、そうした見方は間違っていないのかなと感じてしまう。コンサートの第二部で「DARK SIDE OF THE MOON」を完奏したことがその理由だ。まるで、その曲の所有権をロジャーが主張しているかのようだ。その演奏内容はスタジオ盤を忠実に再現しており、非常によくまとまっている。その他、30年ぶりの演奏となる「ANIMALS」収録のSheepなど、聴きどころは多い。このツアーから各種リリースされているが、音質面ではあたかもラジオ放送ような素晴らしい音像のベルリン公演盤「ETURNS TO DARK SIDE」が秀逸だ。
