76年にリリースがされ大ヒットとなった『FRAMPTON COMES ALIVE!』アルバムの35周年をアニバーサリーに、アルバムの完全再現を試みた「FRAMPTON COMES ALIVE! 35 TOUR」から、11月13日ロンドンHammersmith Apollo公演をオーディエンス収録している。クリアー且つバランスも良好、オーディエンスの歓声も適宜で、AUD録音ながら素晴らしい音質を誇っている。フランプトンとバンドは2011年３月より精力的にツアーをこなしており、この日を入れてこの年のステージとしては残すところ８公演、ひとつの頂きがこの地元ロンドン公演となっている。ステージは76年リリースのオリジナルアルバムよりも、01年に発表された『25th Anniversary Deluxe Edition』のトラック順に演奏がされており、よりオリジナルなコンサートに近い再現がなされている。また、バンドには当時のベーシスト／スタンリー・シェルダンが復帰をしており、より郷愁を誘う内容にもなっている。ただし、演奏としてはレイドバックをしたようなそれではなく、アルバムに近似をするようなポジティヴでタイトなパフォームとなっており、正しく35周年を祝うようなライブとなっている。もちろん、トレードマークのひとつであったトーキングモジュレターによるShow Me The Wayのイントロも健在、Humble Pie時代のShine Onをも盛り込み、地元公演としてRoad To The Sunでは息子ジュリアンとの共演もあるというスペシャルなステージにもなっている。近年のニュースによると、80年に輸送事故のために紛失をしていた３マイクのGibson 1954 Les Paul Customが奇跡的に発見され、約30年ぶりに本人の手元に戻ってきたとのこと。かのアルバムを再現するツアーは「FRAMPTON COMES ALIVE! 36 TOUR」として本年度もロードに出る。ツアーのハイライトとして、本音源は現在のフランプトンを代表するひとつになり得るだろう。
