そんなアルバム『裏庭の混沌と創造』がリリースされたのが2005年9月である。そしてリリース直後に全米ツアーが始まり、このニュー・アルバムの曲が数多く披露されたことは記憶に新しい。ツアー自体がアルバムのプロモーションという性格もあったが、それとは別に、ツアーで訪れたそれぞれの土地の地元ラジオ局に出演して生演奏をするなど、ポールのこのアルバムへの思い入れが感じられる積極的なプロモーション活動を行なった。それらをまとめたのが本作である。つい最近の事かと思いきや、既に歴史の一部となっている2005年のアルバムと、それに伴うスタジオ・ライヴなどを収録した、2005年の集大成が本作に集約されている。美しいピクチャー・ディスク仕様の永久保存がっちりプレス盤。
